Xivii was blatantly trying to figure out the other mason after the Masons declined Xiviis offer to claim? That it was no good letting scum run around role fishing when we already agreed to lynch him. I'm pretty surprised Xivii was town after he posted fake convos, that just seemed like giving up.

I was going Vult/Soup but it appears Vult was the mason based on his first post today? That surprises me, I want him to clarify before anything else. I'll figure out where to go once the mason is claimed with the breadcrumb

I didn't believe him, considering he spent the entire rest of the day fishing. He also never asked me to claim, which is surprising and makes me think that any crumb he found was wrong, and he wanted to double check.

Look at Xivii's posts. I never claimed anything about masons, but right after Xivii claimed to have found the "breadcrumb" he never talks about me again, and repeatedly asks other people to claim masons. Not me. And he never brings me up in his "scumpile" again. From that point on Xivii treated me like I was confirmed town, and was solely trying to get the other people to claim if they were the mason. So I'm pretty certain Xivii thought I was the other mason, and this was what the "breadcrumb" he believed he found told him. I'm not a mason and didn't want the scumteam to realize their mistake. Notice how he was asking me to claim before the breadcrumb find, but never after. So I wanted him dead before someone else claimed. I was thinking Ryu last day based on his shifty answers to Xivii's requests, which made me think he'd crack and answer the question. There's never a benefit to mafia knowing the prs.

He was a mason, he could talk during the night. Vult already said Ryker told him he disliked Mac. So any information Ryker was going to say if still going to be said.

Mac's behavior at the end of the day does make it obvious. I in my #722 drop that I'm starting to doubt the Zen wagon. I address to mac directly that I'm willing to flip onto the Soup wagon. Mac ignores that and says he's willing to hammer Zen if Ryker "approves". Zen works on me a bit more until, in #737, I reiterate my doubts about the wagon (I say I want to reread the game before deciding).

Mac then takes the opportunity to quickhammer off of Maven's stray vote; preventing the wagon from flipping back to Soup. Even though Ryker never said he should hammer Zen and I expressed doubts about lynching Zen.

everyone was down with the Zen lynch. if anything i felt like the only one trying not to support it. do you forget your whole "you give zen too much credit" thing

i hammered him cuz i was tired of the WIFOM of him voting himself. And because of his continual claim that him dying yesterDay would be the best plan of action (he even claimed that he's ok with dying even if ruy/maven were to cc mason.. which doesn't make sense). it was wifom I didn't want to keep dealing with.

also the fact that he kept pushing for Ruy/Soup to CC despite the fact that they both posted felt like phishing at the time. seemed like he was trying to confirm that what he thought was the masons' crumb was correct.

i don't understand. why would you guys continually and confidently push / vote someone you didn't want to lynch and then berate any efforts of bringing the lynch to someone else? instead of having hidden plans in the background of the game you could actually be more open in thread and work with other townies that have less information than you.

fwiw you have a point here. In retrospect I really shoulda latched onto your statement of doubt and used it not to lynch Zen. it wasn't the best hammer.

both Maven and Ruy had expressed earlier that they weren't a fan of the claim idea. Did it put a target on them? Plus you guys both already claimed you didn't like it.

i don't think you continuing to disagree with the idea would have drawn you out. You had also already claimed VT so you would have had some cover anyway.

I still think there was and is nothing wrong with masons claiming in the scenario we were in. Feel free to explain why you disagree. Though at this point in the game, this argument is a waste of time.

I think the mafia was thinking of a Bardull-Ryu masonteam. Ryu had some interactions with Bardull that I think the mafia interpreted as them being Masons.

#260 Bardull quotes Gheb voting for Rryu, says: “This raised all sorts of red flags to me, but this has already been thoroughly discussed so I'm going to put it on the backburner and come back to it later.”

#261 Bardull says: “Regarding Red Ryu, because I've literally not once interacted with him this game: I need to address his slot, but have not done so because nothing in particular has stuck out to me as peculiar. I will reread him in a bit and then give my opinion, and then probably a read list at this exact moment.”

#270 Bardull puts Ryu on his town list, no explanation

#310 Ryu says he doens’t like Bardull’s reads but he is town. Doesn’t list him on his lynch list.


Because of the setup, Mafia kill has the goal of targeting a mason pair. Bardull and Ryu were a very likely Mason pair because they had unexplained town reads on each other. Wifom but whatever. Meanwhile, Zen suggested that Bardull was killed because he didn’t like me.

The problem with Zen’s argument is, mafia are not motivated to hunt based on dayplay or "framing" another player. Not this game. The setup forces Mafia to mason hunt. They aren’t going to kill Bardull because “it makes xxx look bad”; they’re going to kill him because they thought he is a Mason
