So they're cutting out blessed garden rewards and putting them in their fancy new gimmick arena. Lovely.

Did they mention how the new rewards will be awarded yet? If It's just a participation bonus this might not be so bad.

If they're cutting out tedious modes, are they also cutting out Squad Assaults? Those are way more tedious than Blessed Gardens.

Blesses Gardens was absolutely the worst ****ing mode on the whole game and the only reason I bothered with it was the rewards so I'm glad it's gone

Personally I disagree. Squad assault is the same thing but costs more stamina, has more maps, and gives worse rewards. I guess Blessed Gardens has the blessing requirement, but honestly I haven't been bothered by that since I have enough units and the game gives enough blessings that I haven't had trouble making teams for it.

And Blessed Gardens isn't PvP so that inherently makes it not the worst mode in the game, for me at least. PvE content will always be preferable to PvP content.

Blessed Gardens is just a chore due to how limited teambuilding is and how many units of each blessing you just need to be ready. Not to mention Mythic Heroes straight up can't participate in the mode and neither can anyone with AR blessings

Hopefully this is a sign of larger things to come, lack of variety in game modes is probably this game's biggest caveat besides the summoning system.

Is it that bad? If you've been playing for a while you should have enough units to fill out enough teams to clear all the maps. If you have enough units to clear AA, you have enough to clear half of the 3-map blessed gardens at least. And the game gives enough blessings for you to give to everyone who needs one.

You need 48 units to be able to clear all 4 kinds of blessed garden, which I don't think is unreasonable for someone who has been playing the game for a while.
Not to mention Mythic Heroes straight up can't participate in the mode and neither can anyone with AR blessings

That's more on mythic blessings being a dumb idea than an issue with Blessed Gardens.

I mean, I do, but not all of them are perfectly suitable for these battles and sometimes you need a certain composition you just can't make due to the blessing limitations.

I usually do Blessed Gardens by simply re-blessing some of my best units, mainly Clair, Laegjarn, and Kinshi Hinoka. I don't really build multiple teams around multiple Legendary Heroes so all I use Blessings for are Blessed Gardens and making my best units Water Blessed again since Legendary Azura is the only Legendary Hero that factors into my teams regularly.

Still not a fun mode since it's just Squad Assault 2.0 but the Blessing restriction has usually been a non-issue.

How so? The only units you straight up can't use are mythics, which are a whole three units.

In terms of blessings, you should get enough to fill out a team for the three-month gardens by just doing the 1 and 2 maps. That's not even counting the blessings you get from LHBs, quests, or summoning a legendary hero. And IIRC the game gives you 4 of each for free. That's plenty to not only fill out the minimum for each garden, but have a few spares to use for specific situations.

It's just not possible to keep changing blessings as that's a waste of resources, and so I have to deal with units that can do the bare minimum in the gardens.
But I digress, it doesn't really matter anymore. I'll just finish the last few gardens eventually to get the rewards eventually.

If it’s dependent on score, we might have a problem. Hopefully it’s not just “hey, you remember those rewards you could get from Blessed Gardens? Now you have to have a score optimal team to get them!”

Overall it looks like a strong update, but we’ll have to see how these Blessed Garden changes play out before we get a complete picture.

According to the update announcement, blessings will be rank rewards and orbs/ dew will be score rewards.

I never liked the Blessed Gardens/Grounds, they were pretty much the laziest thing ever added to the game, and gating them behind blessings did absolutely nothing to make either the mode or the blessing system any more interesting. So I can't say I'm upset to see them go, regardless of what happens with the rewards from them.

Don't care much for Allegiance Battles either, but at least that mode isn't completely uninspired. Would be nice if the rewards aren't stuck behind tiers or high scores or whatever, but eh.

You only need to play it once a week to actually get a score, but you can attempt it as many times as you like to try and beat your previous score.

Basically just play till you're satisfied, I guess.

You can simply do it once per week. But you can try as often as you'd like to try to get a higher score and get more goodies.

Also, Someone on Reddit did do a guide for Allegiance Battles.

By what I've seen, it's more a competitive mode rather than a PVP mode. You basically work with your friends to get a high score together. So far, I haven't had an issue with it and I certainly find it more fun than regular Arena.

I guess it sounds like the kinda mode where you'd want a Discord group so you can collaborate to a degree with people to optimise your score. Could be interesting but probably a bit much for me since FE Heroes is sort of falling off to only be a secondary gacha game for me lately, rather than my main one.

So I got Brave Celica from a ticket after getting pitybroken by a Ryoma(whom I merged with my currant Ryoma) from another ticket. She's +SPD, -HP. Not the best bane, but +SPD is pretty nice to get, after getting Brave Roy and Lucina with -SPD.
But anyway, I have all 8 Brave Heroes, as I got Lyn and Veronica from choosing them, Brave Ike and Hector shortly after from the CYL banners, Brave Roy and Ephraim from being pitybroken and Brave Lucina and Celica from a later Banner they were featured on. Ready for the next set of Braves.

It's definitely really satisfying. Honestly doing these clears is the most fun thing in the game right now.

The only problem is I'm running out of maps to do with my current team. There's only one LHB map I haven't one turned(Eirika's). So I'm trying to think of other themed clears to do, though not strictly one turns. Though that would require a feather budget of its own, I guess.

So the Fire Emblem Heroes twitter is doing a twitter thing with the hashtag, #FEHイラストダブル, and asking people to draw their favorite pair-ups. They showed off 3 artworks people did, consisting of Sharena and Veronica, Male and Female Grima, and Kaden and Nowi.




If you want to see more, just click on the hashtag at the top. Saw some interesting pair-ups like Mia and Hector, Linus and Charlotte, Lewyn and Jeorge, etc.
