im pretty sure an adapter wont improve qualty. how could it? :\ at best it'll just cause lag. and lcd's lag, just play on a crt.

The improvement comes from using the component cable. The adapters can only decrease quality, of course.

I want to play on the LCD. It's 480p capable, so there's no reason not to consider it. I believe that with the proper cabling, there shouldn't be any lag.

I happen to have an LCD that doesn't lag, it's one of the first LCD TVs, but it doesn't lag. It's a Philips TV but I don't know the product number or anything and I'm pretty sure it's not produced anymore. Sure it lacks all the picture enhancements the new LCDs have, but it doesn't lag

I've experimented with all my HDTVs and component cables, including using a Wii, and the game just always seems to lag. Wish you the best of luck but I don't think you will be able to get it working without any lag.

playing it on wii with component cables will lag it even at 480p, you can use game mode on the hd tv and it will get closer but I doubt it will give you lagless input. There will still be a little lag.

As stated in the OP, I have a LCD, not a HDTV.

Now people, there seems to be a lot of disagreement over whether or not it will lag. I have ordered everything. I will post result as soon as I can.
