^ That's a shame. Some of the most creative characters were from earlier games.

I don't know. Remember how reluctant they were about Diddy Kong, who, if I'm correct, was Rare's creation.Duopierce said:I trust that if HAL decided to include him, they would balance him out effectively and give him a unique and fun move set that would make him fit in very well with the rest of the cast.
However, I'm positive Brawl is only going to include newer Zelda character incarnations, being that of Minish Cap and Twilight Princess.
wow...has anyone else realized that he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about?Hyper-Link said:Fierce Deity is more popular than Ices, GW, and the old school era combined
Er, perhaps I'm remembering things wrong, but didn't he say he WASN'T stressing popularity over everything right now?Hyper-Link said:he said he's stressing popularity over everything right now.
I love how you say "people know and care about Link" instead of "people know and care about Fierce Diety Link"Hyper-Link said:More people know and care about Link
He's a footnote. Oooooooo.Hyper-Link said:Um, yes he does.
Even true fanboys don't necessarily PLAY every single Nintendo game in existance 100% Not that my fanboy status has anything to do with the argument at hand enough to be addressed directly. Of course, trying to derail an argument is a common strategy of someone who doesn't have an actual argument to stand on.Hyper-Link said:And if you were a true fanboy, you'd have unlocked Fierce Deity in majora's Mask like lots of other people
Proof?Hyper-Link said:And there is NO way you could've heard about Mike Jones....
lmfao, you probably only named the game you've played. The first 4 games were seen as a let-down compared to the others.Hyper-Link said:If you haven't played Sunshine, Adventures, Wind Waker, majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, or the Metroid Primes, then I'm even more of a nintendo fan than you
Outside of Nintendo's officeTiamat said:Now consider what peoples' reactions would have been if FD Link were in the trailor instead of Pit.
If by "less" you mean hacking up mucus and spitting it on Sakurai, you are correct!huaiphen said:tbh, i think they would have reacted less than if they saw pit,
Oh definately. That's why he's in no advertisements for the game and why he's hidden where you can't even play as him until after you've already beaten the game and even when you can, you can't LEGITLY play as him except for boss battles! The best way to highlight a character is to keep him in the shadows only to see the light of day in a very few select circumstances after the show is already finished, after all!FD link was the real highlight [of Majora's Mask]
Not that I agree with the post you're responding to, but your logic is completely misguided (bull****): The climax of a book is usually its highlight. You could say that Link transforming into the Fierce Diety to confront the final boss is the climax of Majora's Mask. Now, ask yourself, genius: Do advertised books and movies often give away the climax? No! That's called a "Spoiler". And actually, highlighting characters by keeping them in the shadows is a very good way to make them seem special and make them more mysterious.Tiamat said:Oh definately.
