I feel like he's just not really being helpful in promoting fruitful discussion and is instead promoting a bad philosophy of "let's not talk about anything until the night happens". He's not trying to find anyone trustworthy to make plans with, he just wants to skip right into night action claims.

This post seems odd. It's a strange reaction to a post that, at the time, had the potential to garner a lot of discussion and input. Instead he kinda says some mumbo jumbo that more or less tries to bring attention away from Pokechu while not really accomplishing much else.

This is a really vague post. It points out that these slots are "uncharacteristically serious" but insists that they "keep it up". It just seems like an odd thing to do. I feel like the average person wouldn't know how to react to this and might feel more prone to not talk as much because they are wondering if they're actually being more serious than normal. It's fairly ambiguous and kind of disconcerting since he is trying to put out a joking aura in this following post:

Nabe is telling those slots "you're acting different" and saying "keep it up" as sarcasm, implying that they need to watch how they're acting. The average person would absolutely be alarmed and point out if someone was acting different, considering how it's Day 1 and there's literally nothing else to talk about.

The only problem I see with Nabe is that he's telling those slots that they're out of character even though he has only played one game with them, although this is not valid criticism as it is entirely possible that Nabe heavily conversed with Stoopid and Coricus during night phases.

How exactly are we supposed to gauge who's Mafia so early in the game? Essentially Day 1 is a glorified shot in the dark of lynching someone that even has the slightest bit of suspicion.

Well I've seen some good plays before with my role, which is better than nothing.

Brethren, don't stress yourselves out talking about unimportant things like very specific dissatisfaction with your role that gives away what you are. It's not just fine not to talk about your personal life, it's preferred! At a party, I don't want to know all of these intimate details about you, humanizing you and ****. Have fun on your vacay and save the meaty important role discussions for another time!


Ura , voting is a drag. Who has time to talk when we're so busy having fun? Maybe if the party were a week long we could get to know each other and root out scum based on Daytime interactions between people regarding their interpretations of the facts but 24 hours -- that time's all for fun and clean living. If you really have to be a downer about it, best to just vote for somebody who you're not vibing with like yourself , and do it fast, like pulling off a bandage! This is a party, not an undercover sting operation !

Nabe's response really isn't that great, no offense to Nabe. I begrudgingly feel to some extent like I have to unvote him and look elsewhere, but at the same time, it would be for the wrong reasons and sets a bad precedent. I don't want him to not play games here just because I stuck around and voted for him. It just seems like a really underhanded way of making me move off of him.

I just think it's so ****ed that Kary pushed a case on me that I felt was not a scum tell on my end in Mario mafia, and then Nabe jumps on board at the very end, yet instead of reacting negatively, I just embraced it and tried to argue my way out of it. Did I threaten Nabe or Kary and say "I'm not going to play with you in a game again if you're serious"? No! It's like my feelings and thoughts are of absolutely no consequence, yet his are perfectly valid from his point of view.

Nabe is a quick learner. He sees Day 1 for the sham it truly is. At best, what usually happens is a town player commits seppuku by phrasing a statement poorly. This game begins in earnest at dusk.

You both are suggesting that we will PoE our way through the game just by waiting for night time interactions.

However, if the game truly is balanced this time around, then PoE'ing our way through this game via night time conversation is impossible.

It was clear that DJ, Fire Emblemnier, Natz, and others were very pro-town based on D1 interactions, which helped them make decisions for their night time interactions. It helped them gauge who to trust. That is what allowed Town to win the game.
