... I can't even get the short-distance Falco Phantasm on 1/4 speed.

First you enter a "I'm about to side-B" stance, then there's a shiney animation accompanied by a sucking noise. When that's done, there's a "shing" sound, which is followed immediately by the attack.
It also seems that the 'shing' occurs at the same moment as Falco begins to move his left wing from the ready stance.

How many frames are we talkin' here? Some sorta guess.

One final thing: So far I've only been able to do a DL smash IF the dash attack was initiated on the first step of the dash animation (so he hops forward, then appears to kick right off the ground from that).
Do I need to hit near the beginning of the dash attack too? Because I haven't succeeded with the end of it.

i think its on impact, so u maybe vary your timing a bit depending on how you hit. you would have to anticipate the impact i guess,

I read on the Wolf section that if you cancel is >b near the end of it you keep your momentum and go flying. Does it work with Falco?

I was playing on Wi-fi yesterday and was messing around with the sandbag while waiting for a match. I was just practising retreating and approaching SHDLs, when after a short while the sandbag just fell right through the stage as it was hit by a laser. It must have been about 1/5th of the way in from the edge of the stage. Was this just a random glitch that occured and is unlikely to happen again or is there something that causes this to happen and could possibly be abused?

At least you didn't make a new thread about this and searched. Go to your "User CP" at the top, Click "Edit Your Details", and scroll down until you see "Brawl Character". Change it.

Should I make it a habit to always laser right before I land from a jump? Also, when approaching with SHDair, should I do it while at the top of my jump or while rising?

Also, it's hard to get past Marth's sword. He can attack you instantly after being hit by a laser. Does anyone know any good ways to stop Marth's approach? Right now I try random shield grabs or DLX combos. I constantly spam lasers too, of course.

Is D Throw to D Air at 0% escapable to the non CGables, such as Lucario and Peach? I don't know whether its a small frame window of escape that makes it that my opponents keep getting hit by it or not. Of course, the regrab is escapable, but they never see it coming

Yes because some of them go straigh up and can do an aerial to hit you while you hop to dair
