The point of using Dolphin Slash is to frametrap an opponent on a situation when you would normally be vulnerable, taking advantage of the invulnerability frames 1-5. Dancing Blade doesn't accomplish that and is a punishment for attempting to do something against a properly spaced fair. It's pretty sweet, when it works. When it doesn't, you get screwed (badly). Use db instead. Their are plenty of ways to punish that without dolphin slash.
Hah, a bit too much on the description, but he gets the point across.Take it from me just don't unless your playing a mega super gastronomic hyper gigantor ultra omega scrub.
So...Take it from me just don't unless your playing a mega super gastronomic hyper gigantor ultra omega scrub.
Unless . . . like I said, you condition them. Your opponent won't expect you to double fair if . . . y'know, you don't. And they'll know if you land in front of them whiffing a Fair, and probably will attempt to punish. As a serious tatic I DO NOT recommend this to any marth player ever. Take it from me just don't unless your playing a mega super gastronomic hyper gigantor ultra omega scrub. Plz don't use this tactic more than likely your opponent will expect you to do double f-airs so as a basic reaction they will block and or roll the whole time
Omg you used the word Omega extremly wrong....in other news try to implement it into something unexpected. Dont ever consider a strategy with Marth useless or unefective (spelling sucks)As a serious tatic I DO NOT recommend this to any marth player ever. You're right.Still not fast enough. Marth's jab is like... hit on frame 4, while a lot of the faster characters have 2-frame-hit jabs. If you want to play completely safe, don't recklessly fair into a shield without spacing.
the funny thing about this is that you spelled uneffective wrong, which isn't a word, it is ineffective, and you also misspelled extremely, and you didn't put an apostrophe in don't. Oh, the irony...Omg you used the word Omega extremly wrong....in other news try to implement it into something unexpected. Thats gonna take some nasty mindgames. The day you've got your opponent completely read is the day you can hit his shield with a fair and then charge an fsmash.
