EXACTLY Why Brawl was Delayed...

Another possible reason for delay:

The Wii's central processor has been known to melt during Captain Falcon vs Snake battles because of the sheer manliness of the situation. Stopgap measures such as making Captain Falcon's outfit pink, using Raiden as an alternate costume for Snake, forcing Peach to participate as a special guest referee, and forcing them to battle at Yoshi's Island has stopped the melting in all but 33% of cases but the processor still has a tendency to overheat and self-destruct most of the time.

This is not because of the Wii's reduced power compared to the other major consoles: test versions of Brawl produced the same results on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and one of the supercomputers used at NASA. A software solution is underway but it is estimated that it will take four months before the issue is resolved.

The software will introduce subtle changes into the respective histories of Snake and Capt. Falcon, such as making flower arrangement one of Captain Falcon's hobbies, and Snake becoming a fan of certain made-for-TV movies on the Lifetime channel. These revisions of history will not affect the gameplay, and indeed, it would not be possible to even know it was happening unless one looked at the uncompiled source code.

Which ya'll ain't gettin' yer hands on *growls*...

I just heard some breaking news...*smacks Stak for trying to take source code*...Sakurai was apparently walking about town, on a break...he then randomly decided to check into a hotel (no one knows why)...the following morning, he was seen skipping out of the hotel with Captain Falcon and Snake, and they skipped off together into the sunrise...authorities are still searching for the three men...

My guess is that Sakurai's attempt to change Falcon and Snake's histories backfired, and he feminized himself as well...oops *clings to source code* *growls and snarls*

Yes. There was never any such thing as Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It was never being developed. It was never being programmed. There was no team behind Sakurai, no Sora Ltd. There was only www.smashbros.com.

One day, after years of waiting for a sequel to Melee to be announced, Masahiro Sakurai decided he'd live out a little fantasy he had as a sort of personal joke. He had the power to... all he did was get onto his website and start making stuff up- that Nintendo gave him and his company the job to make the third installment in the SSB series, that it would include third party characters, that it would include an incredible single-player adventure mode. He got together with some friends, designed some pictures, designed some trailers, put the pictures and the trailers on the website... and it was all just one big hoax.

But then Sakurai and his three programmers realized they were a little over their heads- December 3rd was approaching, and everyone was taking them seriously. So know Sakurai is planning on pushing the date back farther and farther until either Nintendo finishes designing the game for real, or April 1st comes along, and his announcement will be that it was all just one elaborate April Fool's Day joke.

Yeah, I did it! I tried to kill Sakurai! I woulda gotten away with it, but that stupid branch had to save his pitiful life! I will now hunt Sakurai down, and finish the job I started...:psycho::evil:

LMAO I love this thread. It better not get locked.

Brawl was delayed because Sakurai is too busy eliminating everything advanced in the game. =/

They're still trying to convince Zelda to turn into Sheik again... but she refuses. The tightness is WAY more than what her boobs can handle, and they barely give her a break, everyone always picks Sheik!! She's determined to not spend another 6 years or so fighting under such conditions.

The Pokemon Trainer was an attempt to make her jealous. It didn't work.

Sakurai was almost done making the game but then there was a power outage and all data was lost. Sakurai was so furious that he went psychotic and killed all his employees. Currently, the game has been canceled. Sorry everyone.

Oh and the new release date? Don't believe it. Someone hacked into Smashbros.com and is playing with your heads.

It was delayed in order to make room for Chuck Norris, unfortunately, they did not realize that
they could never fit him into machine. Thus the game will be delayed indefinitely.

I figured it out. Sakurai found out the potion of immortality and know hes putting together a wild plot to take over the world with zombies but I am forming an elite team of superheroes and I am the leader. I can shoot fire balls whoosh whoosh. Im so cool .Those with superpowers apply here.

Of course, the previous explanation I gave, about the union, doesn't fully explain why it is being delayed. After all, Mario, Pokemon and Zelda aren't the only franchises in it.


Another problem came up with locating the various cast members, many of whom haven't been seen in years.


Pit was one of the hardest to find, since he hadn't been seen since 1991, when he was in that GB game (his appearances in Warioware and as a trophy in SSBM were by lookalikes, not him). Eventually, Sakurai found him running "Palutena's", a low-end casino/dance club in Reno. Even worse, he was overweight and wasn't able to fire a bow anymore. He went through a crash diet, relearned everything he had learned and is now prepared for the game, but the fact he hasn't done this in so long slowed production, especially during the FMV Subspace Emissary Sequences.

While Sonic certainly hasn't been out of work, he hasn't been in a truly good game since... uhhh..... well... let's just say he hasn't been in a truly good game in a while. The rigorous campaign led by Sakurai to get Sonic back his mojo was long and hard.....


Not to mention all the Assist Trophy characters, my god, those were rough!

Andross had to be convinced to appear as his SNES form. The exact points of the deal aren't known. But it is believed to have ended when it was pointed out that having weak points blinking on your hands is stupid.

The Devil from Devil World was found living somewhere in Hokkaido drunk out of his mind and so morbidly obese that his friends referred to him as "Jabba the Hutt". Needless to say, there had to be work to be done.

Dr. Wright's infamous hair was entirely gone. The game had to be delayed for weeks simply to let him grow his hair back!

I agree with said statements. Esspically the one about the boobies even though the pic isn\'t working for and i cant see it.

The game was delayed due to a rather romantic (but akward) moment when Falcon and Samus were ready to exchange vows.

See, Snake had been attempting to seduce Samus for a month, not getting anywhere. Till finally finding the right thing, suggesting they get a quick marrage in Vegas then hunt down notorious bounty heads with a 80-20 split in her favor. Samus appriciated this and the gift of the known outlaw Vash the Stampede bound and gagged as a wedding gift.

Shortly after their running off, Falcon wandered away and fell into a bottle. He is currently in rehab.

Sonic, Kirby, and Pit went after the newly weds in an attempt to remind them of the game and their need to be there.

However, when those three left, Mario and Peach got married in a joint ceremony with Link and Zelda. They went off on their own honeymoons in Dreamland and Pork City respectively. Pokemon Trainer, Pikachu, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong were sent after those pairs.

And to make it all worse, Ike
wandered away, never to be seen again...

because falcon and snake had a compitition to see who was more man. in the end samus, zelda, peach, and all the other ladies of brawl + kirby(for his amazing ability to suck ****) were all *****. they can't be in smash because they are delivering their babies (kirby to). the game was delayed so the kids could grow up and compete in brawl.

p.s. the judge granted all of the ladies + kirby the liberty to smash every man's (smash)balls before the game was released. snake and falcon aren't so man any more.
