Let me get this right. This is EVO. We allow Customs and through all the "jank", Grand finals is Default Sheik Ditto.

Shiek is really good and so are the players and don't worry about it scrubs will still complain about customs even if this tournament was the most eventful and diverse Smash 4 tournament yet.

In regards to ZeRo picking Diddy against Mr R, you have to remember that he very nearly lost the ditto to Vinnie in the crew battle. He might not be comfortable at all in the matchup, a few people predicted the only people who could beat him were Rain and Mr R, both in Sheik dittos.

Diddy does not have a good matchup against Shiek but Zero might not be comfortable with a Shiek ditto or he is just throwing matches since he has a whole other set to work with.

Thumbs up to Zero for switching off Sheik. He surely has his own reasons for sparing us the ditto as others have highlighted, but I'm still grateful nevertheless for the variety. He clearly doesn't need to rely on Sheik here anyways, so ggs.

It needs to be said that ZeRo's Diddy is a joy to watch. Even against one of the best Sheik's he makes him look extremely creative and powerful despite so many nerfs.

This match really highlights just how dominating Diddy can be if you don't edgeguard him. During the set he spent so much time charging rocketbarrels and he made it back every time. When you're playing Sheik you shouldn't be letting that happen.

Joking aside. EVO was spectacular for Smash 4. Loads of character diversity, hype matches, tons of upsets, overall, a complete success.

The future for Smash 4 looks bright. So bright we're going to need

No character with that frame data, neutral game, and kill set-ups off grabs can be mid/low tier. His disadvantage state is high tier too.
