For doubles, as a reminder, you DO NOT share points you only teamed with someone and earned the same amount. You can switch partners anytime you wish, even in the Invitation Circuit Finals. So mix and match to find a partner with a character that best fits your style. Have fun finding an ultimate partner.
Now for a reminder the levels next to some of the brawlers name is for seeding. This had shown how well they did in the last tourney. Those with no level mean they had either won only 1 set, 1 match of a set or none at all. This is basically the performance level, meaning, they won a lot of matches. So the way seeding works is that those with the same level or around the same level, will not play eachother first and possibly second round into the tourney. now how do you earn exp. point to level? i'll explain with a very simple example.
Beating an opp. with a higher level than you = 40exp.
Beating an opp. with a level the same as yours = 30 exp.
Beating an opp. with a level below yours = 20 exp.
That means those of a high level will earn less exp. beating those of a low level and you facing a higher level earn more exp. So if you won 1 match out of a set of three, and you are a lower level, you'll get 40 exp. Your opp. who had won the other 2 matches will get 20 exp. which mean for both matches won he'd only gained the same amount of points as you. This simply mean that he isn't better than you bc he can be beaten by you and who knows, if it was a best of five you could have won. so seeding you both wouldn,'t be unfair.
Singles = $5
