Also slush do you think maybe there should be a column for whether it was wifi or not? I feel like that might be useful data. Not even to discredit the wifi players but just to get an idea of who they're playing with. Your thread so your call.

People tend to barely post results as is. At least 40 or more percent of the results in this thread is stuff I had to namesearch or happen upon by chance during my escapades of randomly browsing snoreboreds. More of latter.

Arizona does everything through facebook now, so its really tough for me to get results. I have done well in most of the tournaments we have had, but sometimes the results aren't even posted at all, and only get cycled through PR panelists and then never seen again. However, there was a tournament yesterday and I was able to grab hold of the results before they were lost in smash
bureaucracy.

Turns out I'm still more better playing on the 3ds, I keep inputting egg roll instead of egg toss on the GCC ;( There's a bigger tournament this Sunday, so hopefully I'll place high again.

Got did in by my two crew mates. Went to loser's quarterfinals and lost 1-2 to his Fox. Their character boards are flat out wrong that we win by +3, he's a solid character with a faster jab, and D-throw strings into aerials. I feel that I could've taken 4th/5th, probably even 3rd. Just need more practice.

We also partnered the week prior and got 4th out of 14 something teams at a different tourney (no bracket unfortunately). Hopefully we can get some doubles results going, it's the first time for this event at Da-Planet and we had plenty of fun. The top 3 teams were (Shiek - Diddy/Ness), (Diddy - ROB), and (Diddy - Fox) and we were the oddballs lol. Yoshi is a surprisingly good stock tank, while Kirby can scrap it out in the front lines. Our demise was met when I dodged the Fox Usmash and Yoshi bomb'd the opposite direction, the chokes were REAL.

It doesn't matter how you do the date unless you do the format in like a double digit month while it's October and so on, as long as you put a date down.
Will update once TGC 1 is over tomorrow, these weeklies I cannot get past the wall of top players in my city cause either evenish MU or +1/2 (pika sonic), ending up as 4th-7th if one of em is missing or if I get someone that's around the same skill level as me so down to the wire game 3 last stock or both games (if 0-2) being incredibly close.
It's saddening that I already feel stagnated even though I'm actually not this early in the game, hope more stuph for Yoshi is found or patch gives him some QoL changes even though I doubt it will.

What's QoL stand for?
If they're coming down to the wire, then you can definitely beat them in the future, don't fall into the same trap as I and a lot of others here probably have and get too discouraged, it hinders your mentality and ability to play far too much.
Do you check back in your recordings to make sure you're not losing to the same stuff or something they keep punishing you for? Sometimes just one little read can make all the difference...good luck tomorrow and try to have fun if you can.
