EDmas II - READ MY MOST RECENT POST, IT REFERS TO WHETHER THIS HAPPENS OR NOT!!!

Planning to run the next 'ed' tourney in the xmas holidays. These are the possible dates :

1.16th weekend

2. 17th - 21st. This is during the week. I think most people are off? i would prefer a date during this week. Say tues-thurs or something.

3. 22nd weekend

Remembering xmas is 25th (tues)

Can people please vote on which date they want. The last two are my choices. Number 2 would be the better while number 1 maybe a struggle housing wise 9though thats still to be worked out)

If people post ****loads today with what they think I can get a venue booked this week and a proper confirmed thread up by the weekend.

Oh and for anyone thinking it'll be 2 expensive around xmas i did a quick check on nationalexpress.com for the 17th-19th, from london to newcastle return and it totals £7.

Nice. Personally I'd come to either date.
I'm not sure but I remember discussing dates with Aiko and Bullet Bill and if I recall right Aiko is going on holiday on the 17th-21st. He can only make the 22nd. I'm not sure though he'll probably post later and correct me if I'm wrong.

And, I think Euan posted on the GT thread about something about not able to attend certain dates also.. Hmm..

Ah well, either date is fine for me but I know Aiko and Euan might be unable to attend certain dates in your first post.

EDIT: I can't attend the ones during the week. School doesn't break off up here until the Friday before XMAS if I recall right, I'll find my School's planner and I'll tell you later Ed.

Well then they need to let me know. Euan ddid actually, ill have to double check. I dont mind hosting it as close to xmas, as thats when my place is free to house. If it rurns out i have to host it further away from xmas, then the less viable the whole thing becomes. Well, unless wesley can house everyone =p

R&F's best choice is 16th weekend! Got family coming down on the 22nd and i need to be showing them around London that weekend! And R&F work during the week so thats a no-no for us aswell!

The 14th-16th weekend is fine for me aswell, just during the week is a no-no for me + Every other school smasher.

I'm not going to see the verve anymore, so the weekend of the 16th would be ok although i would probably have to try and get the friday off work. I work monday, Thursday Friday so if the tournie was on a wednesday that would be fine for me. I cant do the weekend on the 22nd.

So basically if the tournie is midweek and it's on a Wednesday thats best for me. If not then the weeekend of the 16th is fine.

Ok, 16th weekend it is. Be contacting venues on my day off 2moro. Housing be offered the fri and sat nights. So turning up whenever you can friday would be fine. Ive also read that GNER are doing some sort of £5 one way ticket deal this week. Ill try get a venue sorted asap so people can take advantage of that( dont shoot me if i dont tho =p)

No foreigners as i cant be ****ed with dealing with picking them up / longer housing/ fact that once i had to sit in court for one etc etc etc
