Seeding will be based on my list of PA. I don't want to hear any bracket johns like last time, especially since I had the hardest bracket by far. Rules for singles and doubles are the same.

Outsiders will also be seeded accordingly, and will not play each other, if it can be at all avoided.

Velocity, we should carpool to this and get a motel for the people in our car. Hotwire.com is a good place to get a cheap hotel.

After the fiasco at MLG NY, I am very unlikely to get hotels for people that aren't in my car.

Super 8 - $67 a night two beds(already shotgunned by velocity and myself) free breakfast and free internet.

what happened to doing pools
or what happened to round robin theres plenty of time
I'm doing seeded pools, and basing them off of my personal seeding. I'll list the rankings, and then fit the proper amount of pools, and seed them accordingly.

RR takes a LONGGGG time. I learned this doing 10 teams. Doing 50 singles would take 4 days straight, no other events.

I could do the top 4 in a RR rather than a bracket, if that works. Or perhaps top 8, but that means I'd have to ditch teams or crews, and I don't think anyone wants that. It says 19-21 but you figure most people can't make it friday, so it's just a fun day. All tournament activities will be saturday and sunday, just like last time.

pools to bracket sounds fine

3 is a bit of an awkward number to take per pool, unless you intend to give every pool winner a first round bye or something (not a bad idea)

My brother said that he might be interested in making the long haul with me this time. Can't make any promises because of how far away i live, and the fact that random **** can and will happen... But we'll see...

cool, so a little interest from rhode island again, that was cool, little from NYC, little from NJ.

Now if renth can talk those silly florida/arkansas guys to come here like he wants, we may have ourselves a sweet tournament.

I'm moving Washington early January like the 2nd.. but Renth has told me a lot about this and I'm going to try to come and bring others with me.

Edit: Renth is one of the sexiest smashers I know.

remember housing is first come first serve.

I hope everyone can come, bring some friends. I boast a surprisingly well run tournament, it won't be a big problem even if we have a lot of players.

I'll post a schedule of events once I have a settled location.

I'm curious to see which crews will be forming for this event. Same for teams.

Who needs housing? Who can bring power strips and TVs and gamecubes?

if there as a decent amount of out of state smashers for crews we should go PA vs. OOS

EDIT:

Power strip should be easy enough to bring.
Copy of smash will also be easy

Cube + TV might be tricky but i'll see what i can come up with

I'll be joining Renth in this trip. I'll probably just be sticking with him wherever he goes, I.E. Housing, that sort of thing.

...Yeah. You guys don't even know me anyway, so it's all good :p

housing is first come first serve, and the number of people will vary on the rooming situation at the college. I will post who called housing in order once I arrive at college.

extended, eh. . . despite my lack of interest in that particular format, I'll mm you in magic. You can call the stakes and the set (no less than best of three, no more than $20).
