That Direct was pretty good... Sure, there were a lot of games I don't care for, and it sucks that the Fantastic 4 are just DLC in MUA3. Definitely had way more variety than last year, that's certain.

Love the premise for the new Animal Crossing.

They ended STRONG, like really freakin' strong. Banjo-Kazooie is back and in Smash, and BotW sequel!? Sign me the heck up.

I'd say a bunch but most listed Erdrick specifically.

There was one with Leon S. Kennedy (+Jill alt) and Lloyd Irving. It also got the date of the last Smash update right (but the version number wrong).

Decent E3 for Nintendo, I think the middle portion was pretty underwhelming, but they cranked it up well towards the end with AC, Banjo and BotW2, and there were also some good 3rd party games on display like Spyro and Witcher III. A bit odd that they only just glanced over Pokémon, FE and Link's Awakening, but I suppose that's the advantage they have with the Treehouse, the presentation itself is mostly just for announcements.

Spyro on the Switch is also extremely hype. I've been waiting for that for a while, now. Looks like I'm finally going to be playing the Reignited Trilogy, after all!

I don't know who this Vergeben is but I know however he presented the info it wasn't as good as Nintendo's Direct. That one would attempt to ruin the magic of an official reveal for themselves just speaks volumes to me about their lack of self control.

Anyway, on the direct: two characters, called it. Was DQ guy's release date announced?

They're showing off the accompanying CGI-movies releasing alongside the games, obviously. Why else would so many companies make animations for their trailers rather than showing off actual gameplay?

Problem with many of the "announcments" is that many of them only show CGI movies on video games... when you announce a video game it is best to show gameplay, especially those that are coming this year or next year.

Look at Nintendo Direct E3 2019, nearly a majority of the games they show us have gameplay.
