Agreed. There's not going to be a newcomer announcement at a simple roundtable when there wasn't one at a major live audience event.

And the surprises were just Sakurai and Reggie.

I love Reggie and respect Sakurai as much as the next guy, but damn you could've really hyped that crowd of die hards by revealing something at the end there. Missed opportunity if you ask me.

Really? That's a reason to boo him for the entire tournament? Anyone else would have used it to their advantage as well if they got lucky enough to get the smash ball every time. The Wii Fit Trainer was much worse, every match just avoiding everyone and attacking from a distance and hacked her way into the finals. THAT is something to boo someone the entire tournament for.

I'm just enjoying all the info and all of the genuinely hyped fans. New character or no, I'm just happy with what we're getting. Plus, I'm sure there'll be even more over the next 2 days.

That tournament was bloody amazing. HAHA NICE MAJORA'S MASK TEASE HAHAHA.

It was just so intense, and that last match proved how fast paced the game can get.

Also the best possible person played as Rosalina and kicked butt with her. Great show considering how little time he got with such a complex character. And it was amazing when she got such an outstanding vote in the fan favourite!

Disappointed that we didn't see Sonic at all, or a new character, but oh well.
