Event - E3 Invitational 2014 E3 2014 speculation: Any more to come?

That's a pretty epic countdown pic for three weeks. I can't wait to see what will show up the night before.

Hopefully more official Nintendo announcements like the Q and A session will come out soon to both fuel speculation and start knocking out the most likely fake E3 line up leaks.

Poor @ IntelliHeath1 IntelliHeath1 won't survive the Creation of that countdown, sadly.

Oh well, we will! :3

So Close now. I am happy I have something even closer to look forward to (MK8), and that game will certanly give me something to do until E3. Splendid.

R.O.B. was kind of a silly addition in the first place seeing as he was just an accessory/controller, not a character in a game.
R.O.B. is the G&W newcomer of Brawl. Completely random and unexpected. However, G&W had the kind of moveset and randomness to him that made him a fun addition to the cast. R.O.B. has a very bland and boring moveset and offers nothing of note.

R.O.B. is expendible, therefore easily demoted. It's not a big deal.

I'm actually buying the rumors of a late August release, per several retailers' system information. To me it seems realistic, and not too far away.

Nintendo's not in a position to buy other struggling companies that much right now, 3 straight yearly losses.

You may think R.O.B. had a crummy moveset, but we don't.

But let me ask you this: Are you basing your opinions on GamesRadar? Just curious because you and them have the same argument about R.O.B. In truth, you shouldn't rely on GamesRadar for Smash speculation! They've been wrong three times already.

This is true, but Iwata has recently said he plans on buying smaller companies, if they have enough money stashed away to survive for 30 years, it can happen.

On the topic of R.O.B. I feel like his return is in jeopardy. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ends being cut from the roster, and I don't envision him making any sort of appearance at E3. I have nothing against him (in fact I mained him for a while) but I feel that with such a group of plausible newcomers (Chrom, Palutena, etc.) and a group of veterans that to my knowledge are more popular than he is (Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Ness, Captain Falcon, etc.), his chances to return, and thus a chance to reappear at E3 (along with G&W) are quite slim.
