A couple things I noticed from watching these matches so far.

Greninja's Side B works by having him in place and his shadow moves forward, when you let go of B he attacks where the shadow is placed.

While Villager is riding Lloyd Rocket he 'ignores' projectiles thrown at him (super armor?)

Hmm, it's been awhile since I've seen the Mario Finale, but it seemed like it had more of a punch but it was kind of hard to tell.

oh yea guys are failing to even notice but

no matter how far the character flys the audience is silent and they are confirmed from when they select a stage.

so far it may look like you only hear the audience when a crowd favorite gets activated

I don't mind it. It's actually a flowing background, if you look close enough. It's not static. There's some white in there, but I do see where you're coming from.
