There has been way too much flaming and drama going on in the Marth boards recently. You want to settle it, do it here. If you have a problem with the way the marth boards previously decided a past match-up, make a bloody post in the match up thread and debate it. If you just want to insult someone's skill, post it here or don't post it at all. It's the biggest pain in the *** to have people who actually want to progress in skill in the game(I know brawl makes for a horrible fighter game EL, don't need to repeat it again to me), to have to read all the personal insults and arguments that have nothing to do with the thread where it's taking place. Perfect example is the Pit match up discussion.

For the sake of organization, settle your differences here. It makes it a hell of a lot more organized when we're discussing things.

I get sick to my stomach every time I see you do stupid sh*t like keep trying to get into D3 only to keep running into a Ftilt or get grabbed. Learn the match-up or don't play at all.

I'm also really tired of you being so campy. You need to learn how to be aggressive, because once they get into your ****ing sword, you get ***** hard and you don't know what to do. Get better please. You see your Toon Link? See how aggressive it is? Well apply that to your fail Marth because at the moment, you Marth sucks, and your Toon Link ain't so hot either to be honest.

When I see your Toon Link, it's so offensive to the eyes how you're so aggressive you don't even stop for a second to try to commit to a better projectile wall. Sometimes you're so lacking that once the opponent goes through your lame, redundant bomb set-ups and boomerang, all while powershielding your arrows to **** you and your butterknife of a sword and stupid Zair, you're left to rot because you can't set anything up and just get basically cornered.

You're just really bad at this game. God, people like you make me wish that competitive communities weren't plagued with so many idiots like you. But of course that would be asking for a little too much.

Attention Marth community.

Now that it has been established that Marth is high tier and not newbie friendly, I have decided that I want this forum to be a place where dedicated Marth mains can go and talk about his metagame/strats/match-ups/etc.

Meaning that scrubby *** posts talking about what Marth isn't capable of or why he is bad at such and such will get a flame in response from me.

Elitist? Yes. That's the point.

I want this forum to be for hardcore Marth mains and people who are genuinly interested in Marth. Not scrubs who cry and moan about why Marth isn't top tier.

Post garbage like that and prepare to be verbally abused.

The way I see it, it's not being monitered in the first place. I'd rather have it localized and concentrated in on place so topics stop shifting so much from possible intellectual discussion.

That is the way you see it, and in all respect the concept can be very beneficial to the board. But flaming is banned for more reasons than just corrupting and interupting a thread meant to be beneficial for competitive players.
This thread can very easily serve its purpose, but then like any other thread, it can get out of hand.

The Lucario Boards are finally getting better because mods are watching it. Thank god they're getting rid of all the ridiculous spam. To me it looks like the Marth boards are getting worse while the Lucario boards are getting better.

I'm still REALLY ticked that you thought it would be a good thing to close the Lucario Chat Room. Not to mention having multiple moderators trying to make the boards serious. The Lucario Boards are getting over-strategized for my tastes, I'm gonna hang out somewhere else until things calm down, if ever.
