IGN: We have to ask because there are so many rumors about this. Are there any hidden characters to come? Can you unlock more hidden fighters by way of WiiConnect24 or will you offer new downloadable content -- new fighters, for example. -- using the service?

Masahiro Sakurai: No. There are no characters that can be unlocked via connecting to WiiConnect24 or interacting in that fashion. And I may be mistaken here, but the Wii doesn't have a hard drive -- it's a disc-based system -- so I don't think we'll be doing that, I don't think it's going to happen.

This is like the people that held onto the hope that Megaman would be playable after the Inafune interview.

This thread reminds me of how little kids interpret their parents' answers:

Yes means yes.
Maybe means yes.
No means maybe.

Don't be childish; it's NOT going to happen. All you're going to do is build yourself up to be disappointed and then you'll think Brawl a lesser game because it didn't have something you were SURE it was going to have but really never had any plans of having.

Well, I probably will get as much as I care about in the game in like a month or so...

I still don't see why someone getting less would make them happy...

Brawl is a whole new EXPERINCE for me, I have yet to be graced with.
It has MORE than I ever thought it'd have, I am quite pleased thank you.

I'd rather play the game with all this great stuff, then want more that before experincing all the rest.
