I just got pretty **** good at this in 20 minutes.

it seems to work best when you:

1) hang on the ledge
2) drop down and DI slightly to the left
3) make sure you head is at the height of the gold line on battlefield
4) to a forward angled DS

I've also experimented with all the possible follow ups I can think of. Fair actually makes you land on the stage lag free.

I'll make a video fo a all the fallow ups either tonight or tomorrow.

No, just because I can space myself relative to the stage on BF really easily. But, i know it's possible on other maps because i've done it by accident on SV.

It's difficult, but it gets much easier after you know where to position yourself.

All the footage was taken from 18 minutes of me experimenting with this and I had only attempted this for a total of like 10 minutes before this.

You can also jump out of this. I caught a video of a computer doing it against me.

Quick question: Does this remove the up b ledge grab lag glitch thing that happens to marth?

You still get the lag glitch, but like the normal ledge grab, you don't get the lag glitch unless you fall from a height high enough to cause a hard landing (higher than a SH).
