By that logic, Snake's just like Captain Falcon because he's manly, combos people, and is extremely destructive.

no. Every other move melee sheik had would KO, it seemed. I only played casual, but the question is "how it feels" so i can comment.

Technically, since this is the Brawl character discussion forum, this thread should be in the Meta Knight section, since the Brawl aspect of the topic is Brawl Meta Knight.

Psh, Since when can Snake combo?

Anyways chrome just because Meta knight filled the quick, easy to pick up, "broken" character niche in Brawl does not mean he feels the same to play.

Sheik in melee was all about the fair, downsmash, ftilt and dtilt for setting up for kills and the Jesus needles.

Meta knight is about using his superior range, speed of attacks, and B moves to rack up damage quickly before finishing them with either the dsmash or gimp there recovery with the ^B.

They don't play or feel the same at all.

Not in the slightest..?

I don't even know where you're getting this, Melee Sheik wasn't broken...her FAir was.

Meta's FAir isn't even a kill move, he has 4 jumps, has a sword, and can glide. I could go on...but I wont.

I think he means is MK the early cycle top tier character like sheik was that will fall into like high tier. If thats what he means, then I completely agree, thats what I see happening to MK. He ***** now, but soon something will come out that helps counter him, and some1 will take his top tier spot. Just my take on the thread.

Just for the sake of this I picked up Meta for a bit and no he doesn't. I mean he isn't nearly broken enough. Sheik was pretty much ok fair and then they are dead. Meta takes too long to kill. Meta is too slow to be like melee sheik. etc etc etc.

I think so. Attacks come quick, fast, agile, and lots of noobs flock to MK. But, not much noobs flocked to Melee Shiek... Everything else seems to fit though.

Let's see by comparing melee Sheik's most prominent qualities with MK's.

Sheik has an aerial game consisting almost entirely of Sex kick type attacks (Nair, bair, uair, dair all have those qualities). Sheik's Fair is an incredible quick single-swipewith huge knockback.
Meta's aerial game consists almost entirely of quick, multi-hit and single-swipe attacks with decent damage building and combo potential, but low kill power.
Verdict: Aerial games not at all alike

Sheik's ground game consisted of Tilt combos and the quick, powerful down-smash
Meta's ground game consists of primarily combo-starters, with very little self-combo potential. His down-smash serves as a decent finisher
Verdict: Ground game only alike in that down smash is a quick finisher.

Sheik's grab game included one of the best chaingrabs in melee
Meta's grab game has no chaingrab potential.
Verdict: Grab games nothing alike

Sheik's specials primarily consist of Needles, a powerful, quick, and annoying projectile.
Meta has no projectiles, and his specials are used as close-range damage builders.
Verdict: specials nothing alike.

So all in all, no, I don't think Metaknight feels anything like Melee Sheik.

Melee Sheik's needles were used to set up into combos more than just being an annoying projectile.
