If there will be a demo I hope there is no code bull**** again and available for everyone.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!inb4 "Yes. It was called the 3DS version "
You assume 8 player smash will be in this demo. I don't think it'll be in.If it's another club Nintendo promotion, I'd shoot myself. We would become the black market again thanks to those codes.
Also if it existed I believe we would have at least 10 characters including the ones in the 3DS demo just in case anyone wants to play 8 player smash.
I believe so, yes. It's a good excuse to have more charactersYou assume 8 player smash will be in this demo. I don't think it'll be in.
-Netflixi hope so, it will give me a reason to turn on my wii u.
Hyrule Warriors is more than a pure 3rd party game. I'd call it s Nintendo collaboration, As Aonuma had a decent role in it. And it's sales "exceeded expectations". It certainly deserves a mention in the same sentence as the other games you said. However, Nintendo has demos of ALL these games for Wii U playable in the stores but NOT AVALIABLE FOR DOWNLOAD:
- Hyrule Warriors
- Super Mario 3D World
- Mario Kart 8
- The Legend Of Zelda: the Wind Waker HD
- Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze
All of those are Triple A first party developed (excluding Hyrule Warriors) games from Nintendo. Their huge releases. They all have retail demos. But none of them are downloadable. Smash Bros. will be no different. You can count on it.
We are 19 days away from the release of the game.
There's not gonna be a demo.
You'll be able to play it GameStop. But that's it.
This is completely off topic, but I excluded Hyrule Warriors because it wasn't developed by Nintendo. It was published by Nintendo, but not developed. It's a great game. I loved it. I do agree there will probably be store demos but no downloadable demos for SSB WiiU.
LOL I turn my Wii U on EVERY DAY. Mostly because the internet browser on it is the best I've seen, and also da GAMEZ. I actually haven't turned my PS4 on ever since MK8 came out! I don't know why I bought that thing. I guess I've been pretty much Nintendo brain washed as of now. There's just so many great games for the Wii U, and I could give a crap less about the crap coming to "Next-gen" consoles, so far at least. (looking forward to the Order 1886, Mass Effect 4 and Uncharted 4 though.) I'm playing Earthbound on the Wii U VC, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all time. In fact, the Wii U might just be my second favorite console of all time. (Barring the Gamecube for nostalgia reasons. )i hope so, it will give me a reason to turn on my wii u.
Uh, what.....-Netflix

Anyway, I know for a fact they'll have them in stores at least. My nintendo rep said we can count on having on (I work at GameStop). It makes complete sense too because all the little kids will be running to the Wii U to play the demo so Mommy can see it and put it on the Christmas list.
As for having a downloadable one, it's not hard for them to make a demo. They just disable all but 5 characters, one stage, and 10 items or something like that. Then boom, send it to the eShop. They would most likely already have that done anway if they're going to do it.
However, the 3DS one does merit being the demo for "smash 4" as a whole. The fighting and mechanics are the same. The difference is minimal when it comes to the core of it.
Also the Wii U is a different story. Nintendo is fine with demos from third parties, like Bayonetta 2. I was amazingly shocked to see a demo. It was amazing. Made me go get the game.
