Smash Wii U Do you think we have super smash bros wiiu demo?

when i first got my wii u i used it daily(for games) but i haven't really touched it since then(not interest in there current catalog), of course i cant wait for the new smash but everything else the wii u(besides a few games im going to get later on) ; i already have other devices that can do the same thing.

What are you confused about?

Nintendo does not have downloadable demos for the Wii U of any of their big release titles. They only have demos in store for those games, which are:

Super Mario 3D World
Donkey Kong: Tropical Free
Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Mario Kart 8
Hyrule Warriors

So Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will most likely NOT have a DOWNLOADABLE demo. They will have them in stores. That's it.

We better have at least in Club Nintendo.
I don't have 3DS or any 3DS games on CN, hence no codes for me (even if I was platinum). So I hope we get them for WiiU.

Just thought - if we're getting a demo, we'll likely find out today, because there is a Nintendo Direct.

I wouldn't really care if there isn't a demo or not...
It would be nice to experience SSB4 with a controller that isn't the 3DS...
But other than that, I could wait :estatic:

Doesn't look like there will be now considering how close release is for US and the missed opportunity yesterday. Would've been cool but honestly, the wait isn't so bad.

Looking kinda late for a demo to be announced/launched at this point. I had hopes, but true launch is just around the corner =)

necroing this thread sorry, just wanted to say I think last Friday was the only day that would have made sense to release a demo if there was going to be one, sad, anyone holouts think they will do a limited time demo days before launch? Or at least a gamestop demo? Lol gamestops would be packed until release...

Me too, but I'm kinda worried since they'd most likely would have announced the demo in that Direct last week.

It's 11 days away, it makes no sense to release it now when it's that close. We can wait, guys! XD

Yeah, I wanna play too, man. It's gonna be a good game. Not sure about the amiibo thing, I might pick up Kirby and Mario (or Pikachu)

11 days will go fast, I have other Wii U games to play and I can play CoD on my Xbox One to pass the time, too. xP

I initially wanted one really badly, but with ~10 days left, I'm content with waiting.

In fact, I actually don't want a demo now. It'll make Friday the 21st all the more sweeter.

For me it's 18 days left... I really hope they release a Europe(/Australia/Japan) only Demo on the american release, I would be a happy boy... :)

I hope a Nintendo rep pops then in game stops at least so I can get a few rounds in vs some other midnight launch smasher before we grab our copies. :)

But honestly... just picture how good it's gonna feel to play it fresh, with no experience going into it... <3

Pretty sure the demo for the WiiU version came out Oct 3rd in the US.

I imagine at the very least they would have a retail demo available for the Wii U version at Wal-Mart, Gamestop, etc. My local Gamestop has the 3DS demo booted up on their 3DS XL
