Do You believe in Clairvoyance?

I've had a few clairvoyant experiences myself...from my own dreams...

I believe about two years back, I had a dream I was...well...making out with a girl who had a blank face (simply because I did not know who she was at the time of the dream), down in the basement of a house I had never visited before. The basement itself was very small, I was sitting in a loveseat with her in front of me, with a television playing a battle sequence from a movie that seemed to be based in the Medieval Era, unsure of what it was exactly--I was more focused on the girl than the movie. The television was placed within a piece of furniture with multiple sockets, some of which were occupied Wizard of Oz figurines and dolls. There was also a cushioned rocking chair and a blowing fan to my left.

And on Tuesday, August 11, 2008, that very event occurred in real life: I was at my girlfriend's house, in the basement of her home watching Lord of the Rings with her. It so happened that the fight between the Fellowship and the Wraithes had just started when she got up, moved on top of me (I was kinda slouching), and started to kiss me. I had revealed to her later I had a dream of that very occurance a long time back...

I've had some other dreams in the past that had fairly accurate details, and in turn occurred days, weeks, or even years afterward! Some of which include unpleasant events at a friend's birthday party, my kid brother splitting his head on a glass table, and a few others. The strangest part about this is at the time of the event in real life, I am not even present in some cases!

I dunno if that counts, but it all seems pretty real to me. The dreams will either be realistically detailed, or simply be metaphorical, or a mixture of both.

As for the creepy old lady, I really don't know...she could possess clairvoyant abilities, are she's just really good at guessing. It'd be much more believable if she had shouted out a friend's name, and it happened to be something pretty unique...But yeah, the kidney thing isn't too surprising...

I don't believe in things that have been proven to be invalid. So my answer is no.
Source to proof, please?

Notice how you never read in the newspaper:

PSYCHIC WINS LOTTERY

That pretty much sums up my position. She's prolly a stalker, or you're experiencing confirmation bias. Imagine all the crazy things people have ever said to you. What percentage would you say are true? What percent would you expect to be true? Maybe you're experiences are in the high perecentile of the curve, but I doubt you're an outlier. That one comment wouldn't change my perspective.
Wouldn't that be considered cheating. So a psychic wouldn't go running around YAY I AWON DA LAOTTERIES GUTYS BECAUSE IM IS SIKICK!

You are combining two things. If VaNz's story is legitimate is one thing, if she really did know is something else. Shouting "you need a kidney" isn't knowing.
Maybe she was selling stolen organs?

Whatever you do...don't run into David Blaine...
I hear he can put Ace of Clubs up your *** with street magic.

And predict what you will say on cardboard posters.

Or appear in your family's private birth videos.
My opinion is what Goldshadow said.

In the Air, Using Up b as an offensive move
wikipedia.org said:
One skeptic, magician James Randi, has a longstanding offer—now U.S. $1 million—“to anyone who proves a genuine psychic power under proper observing conditions” (Randi, 1999). French, Australian, and Indian groups have parallel offers of up to 200,000 euros to anyone with demonstrable paranormal abilities (CFI, 2003). Large as these sums are, the scientific seal of approval would be worth far more to anyone whose claims could be authenticated. To refute those who say there is no ESP, one need only produce a single person who can demonstrate a single, reproducible ESP phenomenon. So far, no such person has emerged. Randi’s offer has been publicized for three decades and dozens of people have been tested, sometimes under the scrutiny of an independent panel of judges. Still, nothing. "People's desire to believe in the paranormal is stronger than all the evidence that it does not exist." Susan Blackmore, "Blackmore's first law", 2004.
It's easier than winning the lottery.

I experienced synchronicity again recently.

Earlier this week I decided too look through my subscriptions [I haven't done this in god knows how long] and I noticed one of them used to make a lot of vids at one point but didn't make any for more than a year so I was like "That's odd, I wonder why they stopped making vids" and a day or two ago they made a vid. I have a bunch of subscriptions haven't made vids recently but this particular one seemed to stand out in my mind when I thought about it. I guess you could write it off as a coincidence but this has been happening a lot lately and after a while coincidences seem to stop being coincidences and start becoming something more.

I don't really believe in psychics or anything but these coincidences keep occurring time after time, I had no idea what synchronicity was or whether or not it existed so it's not like I'm going around hunting for psychic readings or anything, it just happens again and again.

-.-"

No they don't.
I'd say the same thing if it never happened to me, they say seeing is believing. Funny how that works.

I guess this is what Christians feel like when arguing with atheists so I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Well, if you really think you can see the future, then why are you just sitting there?! Why don't you go and make lots of money!

You can start here:

http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html

It is a million dollar prize for anyone who can demonstrate any "evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event."

... unless you're afraid that (like everyone else) you'll be proven wrong?

Only it has happened to me not just several times. But several times and one of these times was today. I was sat bored on a game on XBL and thought it would be mroe fun if a certain friend on my list came on. As the thought entered my head he came online instantly.

But i'm not a ******.

So I realised it was a coincidence.

I recently watched "Real Super Humans" on youtube, and it got me thinking. Do you think it's possible for there to be a genetic mutation that enables one to pick up electromagnetic brain waves and somehow understand them? Just a random thought I had, and they do have a robot that can be controlled by the mind, though I haven't the slightest idea if a machine being able to do that would even be remotely similar to how a genetic mutation would work.

Your brain gives off it's thoughts in waves which can actually be monitored, but not understood. It's possible that if the brain can give these waves it can recieve and read them. but it hasn't happened yet, the chances of such a mutation arising are indefinately small.

But on a basic level. Yeah, It's possible.

It's also possible for the spaces between atom nuclei to line up just right and enable me to walk through walls.

Realistically, yeah no.

Pretty much.

Most things we can imagine are "Possible" but it's like winning the lottery with the exact same numbers every week for the rest of your life. It's generally accepted that the possibility is small enough to just call it impossible and be done with it...
