Anyway, im heart broken YES i just talked to Gief and he's hurt too. If you cant except our dear friend's appearence then we won't talk to you any longer. You know it's not as easy as Jared makes it out to be, its hard losing weight he's working on it, so just give him a chance or like i said you can kiss me and Gief's friendship goodbye.

my 2 Cents:

Ok well i just hacked my wii and got textures and ****. I downloaded Venom Captain Falcon and went to my hacked version of FD. I died within 5 seconds cause i couldnt even see myself. I have to admit from some of the textures i have seen, being stages or charcater textures, it can get pretty confusing. From now on when i host something im gonna have to admit DM is right and well i gotta ban some of the textures from being viable. It just gets too confusing and well it can cause a disadvantage. Matter of fact i will never bring my SD cards to any brawl tournament. I use the textures for my own fun with friends etc. I dont think textures should really be used for competitive play anymore.

Now i dont thing DM is correct calling people who make textures or download them gay, cause well its just a hobby to try to make brawl more fun, since well it isnt really the most exciting...

You must admit some of these textures are pretty sick TO USE FOR FUN! and i only download textures that are done professionally and actually look good. I love all the melee textures and well some of the others, but this isnt really that big of a deal. If you want textures i say use them for fun, not competition.

Textures should be fine as long as both players agree to it, since after all, all you have to do to turn them off is push out the card xd. I always bring textures on my Wii to tournies but only for the friendlies, I swap SD cards with a non-texture ones for tourney only because people don't seem to know how to turn them off without restarting the whole Wii.

At the next tourney I'm hosting I am using some of these rules. I am not allowing stage textures, and am only allowing character textures if the players agree and am, in fact, using my SD card to load all hacked Wii's through HBC.

I don't think textures are worth all the trouble tbh. All TO's should have a rules list of SOME sort relating to hacks, because sitting for 20 mins trying to switch Wiis or something is ridiculous.
