Why the hate on Kiddy? He was pretty cool I thought. Sure he’s my least favorite of the playable Kongs for the most part, but he had his charm. I liked his cry for example. Overly hysterical. Loved it. He’s also required to do the team toss properly cause Dixie can’t throw Kiddy for ****. And he’s just as fast as Dixie but can take out the big enemies. That’s quite a trade off.

I also would laugh my **** off if Kiddy somehow got added as a DK Echo.

Mostly because he took DK's spot in DKC3 and his crybaby design is poor.
And as a heavy guy he is just bland compared to DK who can do everything Kiddy can and more.

I think everyone hates Kiddy for the same reason they hate Baby Mario. Baby protagonists just come across as kind of lame. And often annoying. Kiddy is also completely pointless, when we could've had DK fill his spot. You know DK. The series namesake character who was only playable in one game in his home trilogy? And part of that was because Kiddy needlessly existed.

How are the odds of Funky as late-addition Echo actually?

If he's in, then I can definitely see a double trailer reveal with Dixie and Funky, and it would explain her absence from K. Rool's trailer.

You sir, are the REAL MVP! Can't even blame you for using "Easy Mode" Kong, Dixie no longer, ever. You just proved I need Dixie more than you! And coincidently, I did all these levels with Diddy in Hard Mode just an hour or two ago!! I now remember why Meltdown Mayhem was always one of my favorite levels. Seashore War's music is also breathtakingly beautiful!

With that said, I might just fool around in Funky Mode a little and collect all Puzzle Pieces there. Cause it's kinda dishearting to look for them all in Diddy Mode, knowing that mostly Dixie and Cranky are gonna be needed for the last puzzle pieces I haven't collected yet. Yes, am that dedicated on using Diddy alone, even if piggy riding DK.

Anyway, great job bro!

You can also watch the direct directly :-D on your switch, you will find it on the Newsfeed page. There shouldn't be any spoilers as it takes a while until Nintendo uploads the trailers separately from the direct.

You guys are all sitting here comparing detailed illustrations and Tropical Freeze challenges, and I'm just over here being happy that my wife and I were finally able to commit to buying a Switch and a new GameCube controller for Ultimate. I still have no games for it, and while my head is telling me I should get BotW, MK8 or Odyssey first, my heart kinda wants to get TF so I can relive the DKC glory days of my youth.
