K. Soz, usually I don't reread games because of sheer laziness, cockiness in that I don't think I NEED to, or because of the fact that I start, and end up getting distracted. Finally, I decided to get my lazy a** up and actually do a thorough reread of this game because I felt the need to obligate to it. What I got was interesting. It didn't point to Hida scum, it didn't vote to Red Ryu scum. It pointed to Soup scum. My reread consisted mostly of Gheb's interactions with players, and applying what I learn from there with the scum reads I currently had to make an ultimate decision of a lynch.
So what'd you pick up, Smarboy? Well, there's a quite unique form of interaction trends that I picked up between people like Dat Hydra and RoxPSI, confirmed townies, and Gheb. Gheb would always have a sharp, interrogative type of tone with them. And then, when it came to JTB, confirmed scum, he'd always have that sort of guiding-like tone, saying things like (no not exact quote unquote but basically the same shiz) "I can understand why you think JTB is scummy for this, but bla bla bla". There's only one other person that he'd have this tone with: Soupamario. Whenever he'd do something ********, or confused, Gheb would step in and try to, like, hold his hand through the game. Gheb had nothing but hard pressure and strong tones with Glyph and Tandora ALL through D1. And interesting note, I had asked Gheb if he thinks scum would bus scum D1, as well as my hydra parter smargz. Both said that it'd be highly unlikely for scum to pull something like that. So why would Gheb pressure Glyph and Tandora as scumbuddies as hard as he did. Exactly. He didn't. He pressured Glyph and Tandora as easy ML's.
Another thing. When Gheb would make scum lists, all through D1 and D2, very rarely would he mention JTB (D1 of course) or Soup. I remember only one time where he mentioned Soup in his scum list, where he said something about the lynch for, iirc, D3 being between Glyph Tan or Hida, and if none of them, then it's either Soup or RR. That can easily be a scenario where he's setting up him calling Soup scum subtly, so in the future when he plans on being the last scum standing, he's got that to fall back on.
Now, for ANOTHER thing. Soup, at the beginning of D2, talked about how Gheb should've been docced or NK'd. How does he KNOW that Gheb wasn't docced or NK'd? Scum slip: town SHOULDN'T know if he was. And, the fact of the matter is that the doc was NK'd, obviously, by our Vig/SK. What if he KNEW who scum NK'd, and was easily able to determine that scum didn't actually NK Gheb? Well, maybe because he was able to see that JTB sent the NK on Asdioh?
I already talked about how his EM train of thought is pretty scummy too, so I won't just repeat myself.
If I must continue, I'm pretty sure I have more. I didn't really refer to my notes when I made this post, but everything that I said was obviously important enough to remember.
In the end, Soup's scum. Hida's scum if Soup's town, and Red Ryu if neither of them are. But I doubt we'll even need to get that far.
