Hmm, yes, stars have a certain charm. I'll be working on listening to the brstms added so far to give them proper ratings as the next step for this thread.

The Kirby 64 soundtrack overall is one of the most under rated ones.

As for Banjo Kazooie and Tooie soundtracks are filled with excellent, memorable music. I really wish videogames these days would take care to put a larger focus on music as the Banjo series has done so well.

About the Banjo-Kazooie issue, I agree. Grant Kirkhope is amazing. I know others will and have made B-K brstms, but I'll try to do as many as I can. The first one will probably be one of the boss themes from Tooie.

Preferably, someone could input the Game Names, Song titles, etc... separated by new lines and the code would spit out bbcode in this format.

Anyone want to help? Not sure if I can do it, but I'd like to try.

Hm.... If I ripped the BTRSM files from another game, would they import and loop fine in Brawl? If so, I could just do that with a bunch of games and save everyone a bunch of work for such games.

Oh, its easy. I've got a program that lets me read ISOs as if they were .ZIP files pretty much. I then just extract all the files and there you have it! Ugh, Joy...

Any specific game requests before I get started?

Yes, that does work. As far as reading DVDs, it's going to get annoying, but it can be done. You can use the Wii DVD Dumper to dump the game via wifi to your computer or onto an SD card, but this takes a while (hours). Then, you can use Wiiscrubber to open the iso and extract the .brstms.

Alternately, I'm not sure Smashboard's policy on discussing this sort of thing (it's for purely education purposes, right?), but if you have an HDD loader, you can install a game onto it (takes about ~20 minutes), then use one of the many available WBFS managers to copy the game from your HDD to an iso your computer. Then you can open it with WiiScrubber.

Note that there are already a few soundtracks ripped this way here as discussed in this thread.

Morphed, you could always just download ISOs and then use Wii Scrubber to rip the .brstms that way, less work for you. Also, I am pretty sure that method does work as look at moosehunter, he ripped those .brstms from the ISOs (Extracted directly using Wii Scrubber I am sure) which is why they are correctly labeled as they would be on the actual disc (but don't have the song names, just the names the developer's gave the songs). So yeh, you should rip any Nintendo games that haven't been done yet.

Did someone still need Banjo Kazooie music? I have the soundtracks for those games and can edit some brstms if needed. Requests welcome. :o

I'll try and get some up here when I get back from work. I have a bunch of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, Phoenix Wright(I kid you not, some of the music is SO good), Tales of Series, TWEWY, Cowboy Bebop, Sonic series, Mario series, remixes, etc. etc. music. Basically my collection includes A LOT of VGM and a variety of other singles.

And the victory section seems somewhat lacking...so I can get some up for that section as well.

Again, good stuff with this thread. Can't wait to contribute.

The one slight issue that might arise from ripping brstms directly is that they may not follow Brawl's 14336 requirement for loop points. Then again, all Wii games might have that requirement, I don't know... but from what Moosehunter said when I asked him about it, that doesn't seem to be the case.
