Oh no, I have no plans of abandoning this thread (or the replacement thread I might make to expand the OP).

The Wikia is a plan B, in case college makes me too busy in the school year to properly keep up with the thread. It also supports tables, which are swell.

The wiki is shortly going to be abandoning its role as a database soon enough in favor of becoming an actual wiki -- that is, a repository of information. I've been meaning to set up a "Music Library" to accompany the texture gallery (which I made, btw); send me a PM and perhaps we can work something out.

@zhengman777: I love your taste. I would have never thought of World of Goo. I downloaded the soundtrack and will probably be adding some to my game soon.

Thanks! Personally, I think that even though the World of Goo soundtrack is epic, Red Carpet Extend-o-matic is the only song viable for a fighting game. The other songs are kinda mellow and calming.

HAs anyone confirmed theat constant streaming shortens the life of SD cards?
I dunno, but after searching ["life span" "sd card" shorten] on Google, I found some results. Check them out.

http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f12/swapper-14350/index2.html
"Every time you read and write to the SD card is shortens it's life but even with lots of read writes it will take years before you need a new card. (unless it's a defective card)"

-shrug- It seems like a minor threat as far as data loss goes!

No matter what, I suggest making a backup of your SD card on your computer every now and then, just in case it becomes corrupted or stops working.

gahh... that's getting spread around again? It's not correct!

SD cards use flash memory, and what kills flash memory is ONLY, and I mean ONLY the writes! This is because flash memory actually has to be "forced" to change its data by overcharging it with power that's built up in a charge pump.

You can find more details at the usual places (google, wikipedia, etc.)

I just had to post about this. My "Battle with Mewtwo" song is surprisingly one of my most downloaded songs, and I haven't a clue why. It's the 5th most downloaded - only 2 downloads behind "The Meaning of Truth (F-Zero X style)"!

Bandwagon time.

Beware The Forest's Mushrooms is my most downloaded (44 times), but that's not surprising in the least. In 2nd is the old Finish to Go victory edit (19 times). 3rd is the Fire Emblem OVA Main Theme (14 times), probably because it isn't exactly common.

My most downloaded Banjo-Tooie brstm is Chili Billi & Chilly Willy (8 times). Old King Coal and Terry haven't been downloaded yet.

You would need to find the BRSTM for Dedede's Theme, then re-label it with the tag for Mushroom Kingdom's music. The original BRSTMs should be available in the "All Brawl Files" thread, do a search for it.

Or you could save space on your SD card and use this app:

O_O How the heck did I forget that one?!

Expect it done in a bit.

EDIT: Alright here it is, and I also did Battlefield while I was at it (I never was a fan of Brawl's remix of Melee's battlefield)

A couple of questions...

1) Are your BRSTM files placed in this path:
Root of SD Card/private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/sound/strm?

2) Are they named properly with the song you're trying to replace? (ex: D01 = Main Theme (Metroid))

3) Are you activating the codes properly and how?

4) Is your volume turned up? (Not trying to a smart *** but this could be a reason for some)

That's most of the common problems why you're music won't play.

Where are the files located on your SD card? That might be the problem since you didn't answer that question.

Been wanting to do this one for a while......As it turned out. Its my best work to date. (Thanks nintendo for giving me back my wii so I can personally test my STUFF!!!)

Big Blue remix (1st half only (sorry only 1st half to make it loop))
F-zero Big Blue Remix (1st half) - SSH - By Swordplay - DEMO

Edit: REDONE FOR PERFECT LOOP
I personally tested this one and it looped PERFECTLY so im giving it a green star. It had to be done on the first half.

Most of my stuff always gets really close to perfect loops but its always "almost perfect" Im using androu1 and goldwave.....Any suggestions? I'm willing to try new stuff. Is there like a certain Hz setting I have to use or something?

Or...is it that you just get lucky with the loop point or something....

Edit: Also I know in the past some of my songs have not been good to brawl to as the style isn't there......Now that I can test these myself, that will change from now on starting with the song above.
