I don't understand the demand for Dark Samus. I still have to finish Echoes, so I have yet to see what makes her so drastically different from regular Samus.

If you have engaged in the first Dark Samus boss fight then you should understand what makes Dark Samus so different from Samus. I've had to sit down and explain to people so many times what makes Dark Samus so different and why she would not be Samus clone. From battle mannerisms, behaviour and moveset, Dark Samus would be different.

1) There are too much characters. 53 characters (I'm sure I forgot someone). I don't want to say, it can't happen, but it's really unlikely. He has 30 (?) unlockable characters.

2) Let's see how the series are represented.

Well, that's everything. There are some things bugging me.

Why should Kirby get three startes (hightest number of startes) and not getting any unlockable characters? I would agree if Meta / Dedede were unlockable. Having a that high number of characters, would allow Kirby having one unlockable. Sakurai is making the game, he won't represent his series at the same level like smaller franchises. And even if, it's unimagineable Sakurai won't give his series one unlockable.

Mario, Zelda and Pokémon get a lot of characters according this list. Of course they'll get a lot of characters, but something is bugging me....

The rest of the list is possible.

3) Surprises?
The final character roster needs surprises. But the only surprise I see in this list is the high number of characters. The characters on it, are more or less predictable. We need such unpredictable characters like PT.

4) Pokémon Rival
It seems really bad to destroy a unique character with another one, working same. (I think the same about Babys - Ice Climber) Sounds really stupid to me. Serebii deconfirmed this, but well......

5) No reliable source
I can make a prophecy like this, saying I'm from *insert a big magazine / gaming site*. I searched this thread and no one has a source for this. And some people were searching this site and didn't find anything (?)

I would be happy with this roster. But it seems like this is probaply fake.
There are a lot of signs for making this list fake. I can't say it's fake for 100%, but it's still unbelievable.

- Krystal - Some Furry from the Star Fox Adventure series, doesn't play a big role besides giving Fox another reason to complete his mission. To get some. She's been in the Star Fox series ever since, being on of Fox's wingmen now.
- Ness (Has own moveset, is not a clone) - Not surprised, his moves didn't match up from Earthbound/Mother 2 and that disturbed people a bit that were fans. Maybe he'll finally get PK Rockin'.
- Animal Crosser - From Animal Crossing, go figure. Not surprised, you shouldn't be either.
- Marth - Popular Doom Lord from two Fire Emblems. Did I mention that Fire Emblem is REALLY popular over in Japan?
- Roy - From Fire Emblem 6, he was the Lord for a part of that game, but his name is off. His name is Eliwood in the States.
- K.Rool - Antagonist of the Donkey Kong Country series, and for Donkey Kong 64.
- Black Shadow - Antagonist in F-Zero (he's been mentioned in each game, even the first, at least once somewhere) and rival for CAPTAIN FALCON. *gasp* I know, it makes TOO MUCH SENSE. (Idiots)

I don't give two licks of an "Oh Snap!" if this is true or not (I really doubt this roster is true, where's the source?!), but know your Nintendo characters, they are easy to remember. :/

Snake and Sonic not starters? Well Sakurai put them on Dojo and everyone knows they will be in game, he could have changed his mind about them being unlockable.

I believe that the Google translation was "Twilight Change (Original Twilight Sheik Transformation)." Some people mistranslated this as "seek" instead of "Sheik," but "seek" was written in kana as シーク (SHIIKU), otherwise known as Sheik. So yeah, disconfirmed. Let this horrible rumor die! Even Serebii said it was fake.
