just not reasonable, you say? and what makes Diddy and Dixie any more reasonable if Diddy isnt reasonable period?we'll see who's right.... diddy is just not a reasonable addition much less a guntotting jetpack flying version of him
he's a sidekick... for 1, anddiddy/dixie makes more sense than the diddy from DK64just not reasonable, you say? and what makes Diddy and Dixie any more reasonable if Diddy isnt reasonable period?
Sorry, my memory of that game is a little fuzzy. I, sadly, lost the cartridge. That wasn't really a pirate ship at all though. More like a floating fortress.
K. Rool did have a standard pirate ship from other games though.
Elaborate your Diddy hate.i dont think diddy is cool enough to receive his own stage as others deserve it more.
@colbusman, arent you being too protective of diddy. dont scare off the diddy debaters, they wont come back. let them voice all their diddy negativities, and then pwn them if diddy doesnt make the cut, which is likely.
if you call defending Diddy and making sure anyone who can't see him as a playable fighter see their wrong too protective, then yeah. really i don't care if they don't return, as long as they see that diddy can be a fighter. and i'd rather pwn them now with my debates then wait for the confirmation of diddy to pwn them@colbusman, arent you being too protective of diddy. dont scare off the diddy debaters, they wont come back. let them voice all their diddy negativities, and then pwn them if diddy doesnt make the cut, which is likely.
Everyone knows those logic tests really have nothing to do with logic. It's complicated sh*t that you'll never use in real life. They can't. They don't have any logical reason outside their dislike for Diddy.
Makes me wonder that C-minus I got in Logic. o.o
you see this, NeoSoul? DK64 wasnt the piece of crap you made it out to be. the peanut guns seemed to click for Diddy because it was considered a peripheral to the jetpack not just in DK64 but now in most fans minds. i doubt theres a single moveset in this thread that excludes them. and plus, saying Diddy doesnt deserve to be in brawl is like saying DK doesnt either. after all in DKC1 or DKL1 (for Gameboy users) its not like DK had many more moves than Diddy. both could run, jump, and attack. and DK could grond slap. thats itI'd love to see Diddy enter the fray with his peanut guns.
I'm thinking Diddy hands down, but as an unlockable
I don't think they'll release any unlockables, keep the suprise. :D
DK groundslap came from DKC. all other moves were somewhat made up and got re-translated from ssb64 into melee but if DK64 had come out before ssb64, im almost positive his moveset would be much differentI like Diddy and all, but don't you people think that an entirely DK64 moveset is a little... lame and out of place?
Donkey Kong's moves aren't really taken from any games, but are drawn from the fact that he's a big ape. I just don't see Diddy having pop guns, a jet pack, and orange grenades when DK is left with what he has now, even though he is fully capable of being given a DK64 based moveset, too. It just doesn't seem right, that's all.
1. Diddy had the jetpack first.I kind of agree. I don't really want Diddy having guns and a rocketpack. We have enough guns with Fox, Samus, etc. And Olimar should have the only rocketpack... ^.^
W00t for unnecassary big letters. Anyways, that's been said millions of times, but apparently haters need stuff reenforced to them that much.ohh also this i found from wikipeadia
In 2004, the first non-Rare Donkey Kong game with DKC-styled characters was released. Namco's Donkey Konga was a GameCube music title that was packaged with a DK Bongo controller. The controller is used to keep the rhythm with the beats of covers to famous songs (as well as Nintendo video game music). Diddy appeared along with Donkey Kong and other DKC franchise characters. He would also turn up that year in Mario Power Tennis, where he had a special jetpack he could use to fly around the court
However, most people think DK64 Diddy is the coolest one. But you know, Power Tennis Diddy is kinda a mixture of both.I think he should have a mainly Donkey Kong Country based moveset, and not a s****y peanut pistol and jet pack moveset from a s****y game. DKC is the series that defined his character, not DK64, and thus, his character in Brawl should be based on those games. Which is why so many people suggest pairing him up with Dixie Kong.
That's the whole thing. It's hard to believe they wouldn't put him in.I'd say Diddy has just as munch a chance as the next loveable, yet to be included Nintendo character. It'd be fun to see him in!
thank you........ the characters look recent aesthetically but when it comes to abilities they tend to stick to the original in both senses of the termI think he should have a mainly Donkey Kong Country based moveset, and not a s****y peanut pistol and jet pack moveset from a s****y game. DKC is the series that defined his character, not DK64, and thus, his character in Brawl should be based on those games. Which is why so many people suggest pairing him up with Dixie Kong.
I don't know why you came back. The evidence had been bashing on you the whole time. We are Diddy fans. We like the popguns and the jetpack. Smash tends to give us what the fans want (Wario, Metaknight, I could go on). If the majority of people who are Diddy fans want Diddy like this, he will be. Sakurai listens to the fans.thank you........ the characters look recent aesthetically but when it comes to abilities they tend to stick to the original in both senses of the term
wooden peanut guns.... barrel jet packs.... BAH!!!
That's why Deoxys is a playable character and Zero Suit Samus isn't only accessible through a Final Smash.I don't know why you came back. The evidence had been bashing on you the whole time. actually we have stated we would like to see his country moves in his A attacks. his carwheel could be his running A, using his tail for aerial attacks, etc. but his special moves should show how unique diddy can be, and DK64 did just that, giving each of the 5 characters unique traits.I think he should have a mainly Donkey Kong Country based moveset, and not a s****y peanut pistol and jet pack moveset from a s****y game. DKC is the series that defined his character, not DK64, and thus, his character in Brawl should be based on those games. Which is why so many people suggest pairing him up with Dixie Kong.
Keep in mind that Deoxys is only liked in America. He could be aiming for what the Japanese like(they like Pokemon more then us) or go with Lucario. That's why Deoxys is a playable character and Zero Suit Samus isn't only accessible through a Final Smash.
oh he'll appear.... was he even a trophy in melee?I don't know why you came back. The evidence had been bashing on you the whole time. We are Diddy fans. We like the popguns and the jetpack. i think so. and i know dixie and k rool were their own sperate melee trophies as well.oh he'll appear.... was he even a trophy in melee?
