Hey guys. I was in the theater so I closed my eyes and picked a random movie to watch solo. I picked Lawless. I walked in the theater and sat through 15 minutes of advertisements. And then I looked at the screen and got disappointed as soon as I saw who was in the movie and thought, "God this is going to be a bad movie." WHICH ACTOR COULD IT BE?

I liked every moment that did not have him in it. But every single scene in which he was in was absolutely insufferable and cringe worthy. It was an R rated movie, but the entire telling was incredibly kiddy it seemed like the movie itself was unsure of whether it was an adult movie or a Shia LaBeouf flick. Actually it seemed in more cases than one that the actors were actually fighting against Shia to prevent him from tanking the film. NO SHIA. DON'T DO IT. GODDAMIT SHIA. Rinse. Recycle. Repeat.

the world isn't that perfect either. There's a lot of inefficiencies in biological systems that would make any engineer squirm. So if God really designed everything he purposely did shoddy work

More surprising though was the Tomic v. Andy match in which Tomic threw the game on the last set by hitting it like he suddenly was impersonating a wounded T-rex and didn't have wrists to pronate any of his shots. Sad. So much sad.

Tomic is such a cat. I ****ing hate the fact that he's Australian and somehow our 2nd best player.

I was actually going to watch Circus's Para- movie. However, I would have to wait three and a half hours. :| Only other movie I might consider is Bourne Supremacy atm.

Wreck-It-Ralph and Skyfall for November are definite must sees.

The perfect world argument is silly, because only gods are perfect. They didn't make US perfect. Why would gods being perfect automatically follow that humans must be perfect too?

Watchmaker argument is basically:
"things are so complex, there must be a creator"
"but the creator is even more complex than the things he made, so therefore by your logic he needs a creator too"
some sort of "god is above and outside of logic/reason"

I was bsltiger and he was mariobrouser. I switched to BSL (my initials), because that's what people called me at tourneys. Some time after, BSP became BSP, as those are his initials as well. It was mere coincidence that we both main luigi and lived in Louisiana.

Now we're both in college and halfway across the country. Our mains are all that keep us together now.


@vandy, I gotcha. Must not have skimmed well enough. I know the watchmaker, just didn't see it.

What I don't get is how people can accept the whole "god is creator-less" but at the same time reject that the universe could be creator-less.
