All these DGamers moving up in the world and I still don't know where i'm gonna attend. I know what I want to major in but money is tight and I don't know if I can get a scholarship.

You don't really know what you want to major in until you've taken your GEs, trust me. ~_~

That being said, I'd recommend just attending a community college to knock out your GEs at a very low price with room and board provided by your family already at no expense, but consequently you have to live with your family for an additional two years.

Personally, having gone through community college myself (transferring to a university of not-so-high prestige in the coming Spring, granted I'm majoring in business so it doesn't matter), I can't say I enjoyed the community college experience all too much (This is mostly due in part from the fact that I can't say I really enjoy living with my family [but it varies with each family, so your family environment may be more appealing]), but it did save me A LOT of money as a result.

Another argument against community colleges is that I can't say my education was top caliber shizniz, as I'm sure there are far superior professors at higher end schools (albeit I'm sure there are tenures that are absolute crap even at the Ivy leagues.) My education wasn't bad though, and it's still possible to learn plenty in the community college environment, probably more than I'm letting on (I might be a little biased in this regard.)

Then there's the networking dealio; the more prestigious a school is, the better the networking is. Your networking won't nearly be as great at a community college as it is in, say, Harvard. I can personally testify that networking at community colleges is absolute garbage in comparison to the greats, but you can still utilize it to some degree (job opportunities may become available from people you meet at community colleges, just not amazing job opportunities because you typically won't run into super talented/gifted/well connected people there.) However, there's nothing really wrong with this if you're not looking for some high end shiz.

So yeah, hope this helps.

Definitely go to CC for the first two years or at the very least the first. Way cheaper since you will just be working on your GEs anyways. I am struggling to pay for this semester. I might have to transfer if I don't get the rest of my tuition payed :/

Medical is always good. It's a damn shame that I'm horrendous at biological sciences, as I think I'd be able to handle high pressure situations with blood and the like. Pay is also nice.

I'm basically really good at accounting, hence the business field. People will always need that as well, but I have a hunch that I'll absolutely hate working the job and I'll end up keeping accounting as a vocational skill.

If the point of using words like ***** and ******* were to insult people you could easily just call somebody prostitute, cretin or other things and get the same point across. You can insult somebody without even using curse words. That's how pointless and dumb censorship is. You can insult somebody in the worst manner possible without breaking any forum rule or fall victim to the censorship.
And yeah, there's no logical correlation between the word ***** and an insult. It's depends entirely on convention [***** is just generally *considered* an insult whereas prostitute isn't, despite their very similar meanings]. Like virtually every result of language interaction, what's an insult depends on the speakers intention and / or the listeners habituation.

I don't know how serious this Olympics discussion is, but China is eventually going to DESTROY the rest of the world in Swimming (and probably other events that aren't track and field). They have such a ridiculous talent pool but their coaching and training methods are so terribly behind every other country.

The Australian media here also labelled our olympic results as a colossal failure. I mean, we didn't do great, but it was more a couple individuals who performed badly rather than the majority of athletes underperforming as a whole.
