I have Cordelia as my secret avatar for some reason but I have this as my public one. What gives?

:186:
You were given Cordelia first, but then you were chosen by The Roy.

To be honest, though, I have no idea. My secret and public avatars are different as well.

wtf is a secret avatar
It's not an actual thing, but he means the avatar that it shows you under your personal profile. Click on your username on the upper right hand corner of the screen and my avi is different there than what it shows when I post in-thread.

Sorry, it's difficult for me to follow all the sites' nominations, did you guys decide on Gorf, or were you still deciding?

Gorf's confirmation is above. I wanted to save you the hassle of sifting through 136 different forums filled with April Fool's stuff.

OPAL FOR HARMONY EDIT: Wait, Taric never says Diamond is unbreakable... What gives?
It's going to be the best anime this season this year and is arguably one of the best animes of all time.

I miss you old DGames crew <3. Remember when we used to do crappy karaoke calls on skype and I wouldn't sing? In an odd twist I've become a big fan of karaoke now. I also need to tell you dudes about my girl problems, and this time I'm not talking about Rune Factory but I shouldn't put it on a public forum.

Overswarm Overswarm How do you keep yourself motivated to keep applying yourself?
The vast majority of people you meet are failures.

I do not want to be a failure.

To not be a failure, I must excel.

How can I be excellent? How can that be a defining characteristic of me?

We are defined by what we repeatedly do. "Overswarm" is just a name that covers all the things I do.

We are what we repeatedly do.

Excellence, therefore, is not a virtue -- it's a habit.

By being habitually excellent, it is less likely that I will be a failure in any sense I would recognize.

To be less than excellent is to define myself as thus. I am lazy, I am unreliable, I am dumb, or ignorant, or whatever.

I can accept limitations and delay gratification only in the sense that I am inexorably moving forward towards eliminating those limitations.

I just watched the third to last episode of Star Trek: Voyager, where:
Neelix leaves Voyager
That was the first time in a long time that I almost cried at a TV show. I held it in, but that was it most bittersweet ending to an episode I've ever seen in a TV series.

Overswarm Overswarm My entire life for the past four years has been an absolute waste.

Oh well. I guess I'll find some way to make up for the net loss of $300,000 in what would be my theoretical pay loss.

I've seen all of TNG, DS9, and am now on the last episode of Voyager. I've also seen all of the even-numbered Star Trek movies (except for 8; I never saw it on TV, in a Blockbuster when they existed, nor on Netflix), and a couple of the odd-numbered ones (which are far inferior). I've never watched Enterprise and only saw a little bit of TOS forever ago, so I'm going to work on those after I'm done with the Voyager finale. DS9 is definitely different from the rest of the series, and that could be good or bad depending on why you watch Star Trek. I feel like DS9 has less explosions and exploration, but uses its time to focus on struggles of leadership, analyzing political and social issues of the time, personal struggles of the crew, and the showing the deep bonds that are formed between the main characters throughout different situations they get thrown into. All Star Trek series I've watched thus far have the last aspect (although I have to say it's strongest in Voyager or DS9), but the first three aren't heavily delved into in any series apart from DS9. I've loved all of the Star Trek TV shows thus far, and hopefully Enterprise won't be an exception.

For the RPG fans out there (like @#HBC | Joker), I'm blitzkrieging a FFVI mod called A Brave New World. Two friends and I divied up the characters between ourselves and we're going to play through the recently released update. It is a rebalanced and remastered version of the original game and I love it.

Congrats Overswarm!

As far as the Star Trek discussion, Chain of Command for TNG, but In the Pale Moonlight has to be my favorite star trek episode period.
