@BSP - No big deal, Rockin's known for not letting newer players into his game (happened to me the first time I tried joining one of his games). He wants to make sure his games are going to run efficiently in terms of activity and player skill, so he only takes players that have an established record here already.

I've completed 4. Newbie 23, Newbie 20, Bust A Move, and Hunter X Hunter. I played in Newbie 21 until I replaced out because I over estimated how much time moving into my dorm would take, but my replacement made like 4 posts before the game ended.

I can understand a skill rejection because now that I look at it, I've only played 2 real games.

I'm good on activity though. I've never been prodded and I've told you of the only time I've replaced out. I can easily make a 72 hour limit.

Also, I'm not in another game right now, unless you mean the sign up list for the large. If that did start, I could manage, don't worry.

I see. While I feel you'd do well with activity, you playing in 2 games (which I don't really count Newbie games) doesn't truly show experience. This'll be a game where you must earn the right to be a Kingmaker. Game mechanic itself is also a bit different from a typical mafia game. I would suggest you move away from this one.

Maybe by the time I have my large game up, you may be god tier and could join my game :B

Eh, not really. I'm not trying to really aim for top-of-the-line players, especially given the fact that about a good chunk of them have retired. At the same time, I'm not letting anyone in the game with little to no experience with a Mafia game in general.

Remember, this is a KINGMAKER game. This game doesn't follow the typical rules of an ordinary Mafia game. I would feel comfortable putting in players that can grasp the concept of a mafia game then just letting in people who are still trying to learn how to propertly take advantage of it.

Another factor into this is that I am unsure who is currently playing. Games these days take a long time to come around, and when they do get around, things happen. Players I know are either MIA or they retired. I'm pretty sure by the time my large game comes around, there'll be a drastic change in current roster.

Right now, my main goal is gathering people who will be active. Player skills is not that big of a factor to me like previous games, though I still keep it in mind. I'm willing to give Badwolf, Rake, and a few others a chance cause they've shown to have completed some recent games. ATM, I do not know how good their skill levels are....but I'm sure it's enough to grasp the concept behind Mafia.

Slightly, the PM was a little confusing as to what I was and there was a clear Indy. So I read my PM and thought that I was the Indy, and it turned out that I wasn't. Boo on me.

I never really went background check mode originally. I just forgot to put BSP's name at the time

But then Bardul explained to him about how I am with quality in terms of gamers, and that raised my curiosity to just see how much experience he had on his belt. After checking the list, it seemed like he really wasn't meant for this particular game.

I may have to do that to Badwolf and a few other players.

Hmm. That is pretty bad. It's bad enough I had to go through an episode with chibo in 'Mafia Tournament Sleepover.' (I sent him a flavor night PM in terms of what happen to him. Somehow he thought three people was trying to target him and, that led Frozen Flame (Indie) enough wiggle room to get out of a real jam against Marshy and this other person (both were Mafia).

I may have to look into Badwolf some more. As well as some others.

Oh yeah, that was...Gheb's small. Circus was the indy, Badwolf was the Town Jailer PR. Badwolf misunderstood his role PM and said outloud that he was the independent, but he really just had no idea what an independent was and thought he was indy for...some reason, I don't remember. I'm sure he at least NOW understands that, unless the role PM tells you specifically that you are "independently" aligned, you are not an independent. I haven't played with him in any recent games however, so I'm not sure how much he has improved since.

I felt BSP was ok in Puzzle Bobble, but I agree with Rockin that Kingmaker set ups can become silly when someone who isn't as experienced with being in a position of power (a.k.a. being the King) could potentially lead to problems for everyone else. Or, say BSP ends up being easily executed because of his inexperience, that would suck for any alignment he's a part of.

Rake is totally fine IMHO, and considering he's hydraing with RR, he'll at least have RR to go through before anything else. Rake's not GOD TIER, but he's not bad.
