That was a rather ignorant statement. They weren't brethren they were separate nations altogether. It's like saying all Indians are under one umbrella, which most would find offensive, or that all black people are from Africa and all the countries in Africa are basically the same.I know the Mayans believed that the world would end on 12/21/2012, but did there native brethern, the Inca and the Aztecs believe this would happen as well? Just a question, for I haven't done much wikipedia research.
Mankind (prophets, psychics, and blah, blah, blah) does not know the time, nor the hour when this world will end. That and the rapture of course.
On the same note, I don't believe the Incas or Aztecs made many predictions other than the Aztecs one of a man on a white horse leading them to prosperity which Cortez (I think it was Cortez) exploited and rode up on a white horse then conquered them.
