I say Samus does well vs Marth, overall Marth has the advantage.
:dizzy: You said Samus does well vs. Marth and then said that Marth does well against Samus. Wouldn't the latter make Samus do poorly against Marth (maybe not poorly, but not as well as Spacies or Captain Falcon or something.):dizzy:

Huh? No, I meant what I said. Samus does well vs Marth, overall Marth has the advantage.

What I mean by this is unlike a lot of characters, Samus does not get ***** by Marth. Samus does well vs Marth, meaning...just that. She does well. She doesn't get gayed as hard as other characters, and she has a lot of advantages that give her a fighting chance against Marth, such as CC, good edgeguarding, and range. (Range is not bigger than Marth's but she can at least hit Marth lol) OVERALL though, Marth has the advantage, simply because he's a better character. So based on my statement, this statement could be made:

"Yeah, Samus does well vs Marth, but between a Marth player and Samus player of even skill, the Marth player will win the match."

Emblem Lord did a pretty good job of summing up the matchup in that post, yeah. I still don't do well against Samus, because I just don't know how to approach her on the ground to START my devastating combos. It seems like I have one of three basic options: do a ground attack, and get shielded and get wave-dsmashed; or I can aerial, which gets CC dsmashed; OR, I can grab, which gets spot-dodged and dsmashed (yes, the Samus I played against was rather dsmash happy.) Is there some way to get out of this, or do I just need to keep mixing it up and hope I can punish the Samus for guessing my approach method wrong? This is really the only thing holding me back; my cousin and I actually set what I believe to be a record, with him eating and surviving 2 Ken combos, only to die from my third one. Once I can get her off the ground, it'll be a cinch.
