I personally do think this is a neat idea, Some people just don't want to do it themselves, I wish you had more colours/options that would be cool. I'd personally like to have some specific things done to mine that you don't offer but still, ignore the trolls, if you feed them, you make them happy. Ignore them theres not a lot they can.

Troll complex people are hilarious to watch make fools out of themselves on SWF.

The services look pretty good. I will keep you in mind for future endeavors.

BTW to the guy that was trolling, seriously don't make fun of people for trying to actively make money. You need money to eat, live, survive.

Thanks for letting me know he was an active troller, he came on a little harsh and I am not an active forum guy.
I actually have a LOT more colors now. For some reason (probably laziness :)), I hadn't updated it yet. Here is a rundown of the colors/brands I have as of now:
Krylon
-Red
-Blue
-Yellow
-Green
-Orange
-Black (gloss)
-White (gloss)
-Clear (of course)
-Glitter GOLD and PURPLE
-Clear Sealer for Glitter
-Glow in the Dark (Works best on lighter colors) recharges with light
Rustoleum
-Lime Green
-Purple
-Clear (a little bit shinier than Krylon, but not as protective)
I am experimenting with combining both clear coats to attain both pros, Ill let you all know how it works if you want the combination. Please note that the glitter paint is a little rough, but the glitter DOES NOT fall off. Trust me

If anyone has any color requests, let me know

If anyone else has any requests, let me know. I am looking for projects anyways. I am forced to come up with my own ideas right now! I have one that some of you Falcon fans might like. A captain falcon, colored yellow, with a red background and a blue back. Dont say I am copying the previous poster with a falcon controller, it is a completely different image, layout and design and I think these colors would work the best. Again let me know if you guys have any suggestions
Watch out Falcon haters! HERE COMES THE KNEE!!!

I can make simple stencils. I do not have a decal printer or one to buy from printers since they are all soooo expensive. I can cut out stencils as long as the design is not to difficult, there isn't a ton of detail, and if I can use less than two colors. If the image does not meet these standards, I don't think I can help you until I find a decal dealer. Thanks, let me know what it is anyways, so I can order a decal in the future of the specific design, then I can do what you want.

Would you want the text stacked? Across is definitely to small. It would also be nice that if you are committed to the project, if you could give me a word doc stencil yourself to show me the format so I can cut what YOU want, and not what I make.
It would also be helpful if you could fill the form out below if you want to go ahead and tell me what you want in advance. I know it is soon, but it will take awhile since I have to wait a lot due to the inclement winter weather. I can shoot you a rough price, too. Please consider all of the components of the controller and what you really want.

Again, Don't have many projects I am working on. If you change your mind and I make it anyways, there is a whole world of people out there to sell the product to. Just throw out some ideas for me, I'd appreciate it

HERE it is
The controller's back shell is red, the front blue, the buttons and triggers are white and glow in the dark, and there is a custom red PS3 analog stick in place of the analog stick and a white PS3 analog stick in place of the C-stick.

Feel free to ask an questions, leave feedback, and PM if interested in buyin it. HAHA, itd be funny if Mango saw it......
There are some minor cosmetic imperfections since I use spray paint and it is very difficult to get it perfect.

Not yet. I have not tested the paint I use on regular controllers. I could do it as long as the controller painted was a lighter color for an extra fee, since the paint is expensive.

i'd have to test ps3 analog for myself but that controller does look really nice. does the paint wear off after a while? one thing i had considered was just painting a small portion of the controller that wouldn't really get worn down... like the little depressed region with the start button on the top half of the shell.

also, i figure you might be the person to know... i've replaced the analog stick in two of my controllers with white nunchuk sticks, from nunchuks i've had since the wii game out essentially. i really like how it feels (and having an almost brand spankin new control stick), and i've been wondering if all those new black/red/blue nunchuks have control sticks that would also fit.

i will say your craftsmanship looks pretty solid though, and it's cool you're doing this regardless of what mikeswagggg says.

I do not know if the paint where off over long amounts of time, my controller probably has around 30-40 hours of Smash play with the paint on it and it is doing fine. I only started painting ~2 months ago, but I have done tons of research and have talked to a lot of ppl, so don't take me as someone who doesn't know anything about custom jobs. I have never replaced sticks using nunchuk sticks, but I might try in the near future. The PS3 stick works great, I prefer it over the GameCube Anyday. It is not quite as grippy, but it is bigger, provides more finger surface area, and seems to slide even smoother than the GameCube stick.
I would guess if the nunchuks are nintendo manufactured, that their sticks would fit in the gamecube controller just fine, the color should not change that.

hm ok. i figured they would be the same fit, since the original white ones were, but i wanted to see if anyone else knew before buying one myself. do the ps3 sticks happen to have the same dradle-shaped fit or do you have to carve those out yourself?

also that purple glitter controller is looking pretty sexy, might want to get one of my own

You only need to sand the plastic cap holding the stick in place if you put it in the C-stick. Otherwise, it fits right in.
I can make you one, if you would like. I do not want to start on one and mess up the design, so if you want to order a whole controller now, refer to the form below. If you want to think about it and consider what you want, thats fine too. If you want just a controller shell and some parts so you can customize the internal components, of course that works too. Here is the form, feel free to ask any more questions regarding controllers. BTW, I have about 10 different color PS3 analog sticks, including glow in the dark and purple

If you wanted just a plain, Glitter painted wired controller, probably around $40 + Shipping
If you wanted a plain, green wired controller, probably around $32 + Shipping
It depends, I can do a lot of cool things, but everything is at a price. For the Americana Controller, I am hoping to sell it for atleast $65 +, Since it features so many cool components that you can read more about in its description. If you are wondering how much a project in your mind may be, let me know and I will shoot you a rough price

Are you just spraypainting these sticks?

Acrylic spraypaints wear off from skin (oil) contact and vigorous use. I made a white controller out of a black one back in college. Sanded it down, 3 coats of white paint, and a good sealant. It was only white for about a month (I was playing a lot back then) before it became the infamous cowtroller.

Have you done any durability testing?

No. The PS3 sticks I use are factory produced. They feel just like the original sticks. The color is not just going to fade from use

I also realized that $80 was too pricy. I lowered it to $65, still best offer.

I see you, custom controllerz. We will see who comes on top....
BTW, I don't have a Facebook (please don't ask why, dont want to get into that conversation) So I cant advertise through it.
Plus, for all you casual players who want your favorite character showcased on the controller, you know where to find me. I am making a falcon controller right now that is looking oh soooo Sexyyy. I can use different colors, themes, and sticks to spice it up to your taste, since everyone likes C. Falcon and many openly express gay thoughts about him, since he is, CAPTAIN Falcon. I should have it together by next weekend.

I am aware the Americana controller is really not that interesting (I understand, it is sorta a dull design) But I will deliver much more content that will keep you all hooked.

The durability is pretty subject to brand IMO. I've been playing with a controller I painted to look like an EVH guitar for like at least 4 months several times a week and it's pretty pristine still.

Rustoleum clear coat is not suggested, it makes the controller even stickier, not smoother. Krylon clear is good. Anyone know of clear coat spray paint that beats krylon? I painted my controller about 3 months ago, it has pretty heavy use, and it still looks good.

(sorry, the pic is a little dark, promise it will look brighter and shinier when it is complete!)
There is the falcon controller so far. I still need to clear coat the top to make it durable and Sexayy. I plan on painting the plug red and using a blue PS3 stick in place of the gamecube stick. If anyone wants to buy the controller and would like me to customize the buttons and stick to their likings, it will be another week before I put it together. Let me know NOW if you have suggestions or if you want to purchase!
Also, let me know if I should use a different back. I like the blue and it goes with falcon, but it doesn't look quite right.

PICS WILL BE IN AS SOON AS MY ADOBE FLASHPLAYER STARTS WORKING!
All I can do now is put in links
Here is some brighter pics of the completed shells
(I swear the blue looks better in real life!!)

I like how it came out. I will have it assembled by next weekend

This is the luigi controller I have been working on.

It still lacks the clear coat. The Luigi emblem came out a little rough since it was cut out and the circle was difficult to work with (there are scratches on the paint from when I cleaned up the circle a bit, I hope the clear coat makes these marks insignificant), but I am still proud of it. I plan on assembling the controller with all the normal sticks and buttons.
Any feedback or suggestions are welcome, PM me if you want like to purchase anything.

Hmmmm. Ill have to invent a design, but the idea is definitely good, and I could sell more than one of these, so it will be worth my time. A classic controller designed to look like NES, probably around $70, since I need to construct a design and I need to find the right gray paint. Does this sound good to you? I would like to try out this project, and sell it to you as my primary customer if it turns out good.
Is there any other special sticks or features you would like in your controller? Let me know exactly what you want, so I can buy the right stuff.
Thanks, give me some time to think and plan this out, its not an overnight project
BTW, did you get this idea from the N64 controller zoki did?

Again everything is subject to change. Actually for just the shell and the parts it would probably be around $50. Didn't realize that is all u wanted. Ill start working on one here in a bit and I will give forum updates on the results. I still need to find the two gray paints
