Almost forgot:

$3 door Fee, $4 for both days(only if you pay on the 1st day)

If you bring a TV or a cube, then you can enter for free. if you bring both then 2 dollars off on your singles entry fee.

This isn't confirmed but it might be possible.

Another thing is what you guys think about the commentary @ the finals? Possibility it'll be on a Projecter.

commentarys would be halirious, i wouldnt mind it. the finals being on a projector sounds good and all but if the players have to use the projector screen as their playing screen then its not such a good idea.

I agree with Thomas, commentaries would be awesome as well as a projector for the final match. But if the players will have to play on it then I don't think it's a good idea. Who wouldbe doing the commentaries though?

Im thinking if we had more than one projector that would be great. I mean its a school for goodness sakes. They have to have more than one projector. It will be like smashing in MLG style. I hate playing smash on small TVs and Im sure many others do as well. The schools have a fairly good size TV's. That would be great if we can borrow them.

1. Cause After Otakucon and the Select Start cooncert, I believe that you're responsible of getting things done.

2. We need help setting things up, and organizing the best way possible. We only have 4 people in our staff.

ABOUT THE PROJECTOR, IT WILL FEED OF A TV FOR THE SMASHER TO PLAY ON MEANING THE SMASHER WILL BE LOOKING @ THE TV WHILE THE AUDIANCE WILL BE LOOKING @ THE PROJECTO WHILE THERE WILL BE COMMENTARY.

HUGE UPDATES

Ok guys I just checked all of my stuff and amount of people going and some major and minor changes will be made to this tourney...some for the bad some for the better...

MAJOR!

The tourney will now only be 1 day Feb 19 cause I don't think I have time to spend a whole weekend without studying or hw.

The tournament will start at exactly 1:00 P.m. there will be no escuses if you are there late then you obviosly miss out...I must start this tourney at 1 if I am to finish it absolutely positively no excuses so please people either make it on time or call me and tell me you may be a little tardy so I may bracket you in I will update the first post in a bit I have to go out now with my other.

MINOR

Food will be served at the tourney complementarys from a good friend of mines and hook ups from local pizza places, chicken, etc....

We still need tv.s but there will be a few tv's donated to help out with the tournament...we will have a friendly tv as well as tournament grounds...

All money matches must be ran through me before done because technically gambling is illegal on school grounds but if I vetoe it then it will be ok.

About the projector usage.

I figure it'll be Team Matches, Team Semi's And Finals, and Singles Semi's and Finals.

remember, the dvd is still in effect so there will be interviews of FL's top players.

And remember there's still a raffle contest for those that pre-registered. So winners gets a BIGGGG Prize.

Do not alway listen to Ic3 I never said that you must be there that early...but your help is much appreciated if there is 2 many people for my staff to handle...

But if the amount of people gets outadgeous like it did at my last tourney you guys can help me with things on tourney grounds I will need help with keeping a certain side of the room under control...

The room is huge therefore I don't have eyes in the back of my head to moniter everything. But brackets will be done by me and my people that are not entering the tourney..

I just want to clarify this in case anyone has a problem with gspot members helping the tourney...I will only be allowing them to moniter t.v.'s and stations....this is all.

Sup everyone? Your friendly neighborbood wuffie here =) Well, been a while since I've posted to do my life being busy and all. But I'm caught up now on the Omnismash thread. And I have to say, I like the way this tourney is turning out. Lots is getting done and it seems to be well organized. As well as potential to be the biggest FL event since my Last Howl tournament.

I'm actually glad that the tourney is only one day. I'm going to a new school now and I'll have to go to the Sunday classes all day to catch up cause I registered late. So I wouldn't have been able to make it on Sunday (which would have probably been singles). So this fits right up my ally.

I still don't have a team partner for doubles. Hopefully I'll team up with Halo5GOD if he goes. If he doesn't, I'll make a post shout out for a team partner. I'll keep you guys updated on that as soon as I find out from Halo if he's going or not.

I like the idea about the projectors. But not to sure about commentary during those matches. Some people may be easily distracted from the commentary and they need to focus. Especially if the commentary happens to be extremly funny (which Flowin happens to be)

Cloud: So I take it then that there will be no Crew Battle or Low Teir tourney since it's only one day?
