Protip: Watch good Falco videos. You'll see where you're going wrong.

I don't think I'd be at the point I am without them. Just to clarify I'm looking for more specific tips, stuff to work on, ect. Sanuzi that was very general.

You were a little too stationary in your first match with that Fox. I think you need to mix up your approach some to be less predictable.

Also, it seems like your shffl could use some polishing. Dashing into a short-hopped aerial is a lot faster and it could give you an edge against Fox.

You're on the right track, just reverse some and practice the basics.

Match 1 - Don't try to CG Fox with uthrow; if you're going to do that, use bthrow. It's the safest out of the 3 pseudo-chainthrows Falco has on Fox, and it's still easy to DI out of. Work on flowing from move to move; your movements are much to choppy and abrupt at this point. It seems like you have to pause and think for a bit before your next action; you need to be able to think on the fly, and react to different situations instantaneously. That, and work on getting the bread and butter dair/shine combo down. You'll need to perfect that, since if you watch some good Falcos, any aerial/shine/grab almost always leads to at least 40-50%. Capitalize on that, since Fox can do a lot of nasty things to you quite effortlessly (uthrow + w/e).

Match 2 - Work on advancing/retreating w/ SHL, and try not to be stationary while doing it, since it leaves you quite vulnerable. With that being said, SHL needs to be part of your approach, and not SHL -> approach -> aerial. If you'll analyze vids a bit more closely, you'll see that with proper usage of lasers, you keep your opponent locked down until you can get close enough to aerial/grab/jab/shine/etc.

With that being said, there's not too much for us to critique, since you still need to work on basic movement and combos before the real critiques can be handed out.

Good luck, and keep up the effort.

you left yourself open alot of times... one thing you never do is SHL in front of somebody... you did that a couple of times... and you stalled a couple of time... but everybody does that... but you should get out of that habbit and do some mind games... 2 throw them off... and never do the same move more than 2 times... especially if you miss the first 2 times... and another thing... you got a good falco... but fox had so many open spots to plink (shine) you... but he faild... and you got a good edge hog game...

one thing you could really benefit from is using dash dancing in combination with Short hop lazers to make it more unpredictable, also i noticed you didn't really use wavelanding too much that's pretty helpful once you get good at it. practice all this stuff and you'll get alot better

aight aight, not bad not bad

The falco's getting there, its getting there.

But you're not using falco to his full potential. I'm not saying crazy good like PC Chris or whatever.

More shine to b-air, d-air, n-air especially on fox. (try doing this quicker by shine and pushing the control stick up and using c-stick to attack, faster than using y/x to jc the shine)

wavedashing, more of it outta the shine. This one takes a bit more practice, but once you get this down, fastfallers are easily more comboable and you can use this and the shine to air combo to inflict full damage.

otherwise, just polish on shffl, shl, and maybe learn some fancy moves.

nah dont learn fancy stuff yet.

Hydro Kirby pretty much nailed it. Try to master the basics and then if you feel like you still need help, post more vids then.
