Some of you guys are crazy... Seriously whats the point of staying up till 3:00 just to see an update you can
look at right when you wake up?

And then you get angry at Sakurai for giving you a bad update because you stayed up so late..

Yes I can go a week without Dojo.. After a while i stop thinking about it if i'm with my friends.

With how dull the updates have been of late, I probably could. I no longer wake up excited to see them as I once did - I wake up hoping the new one isn't a complete bore.

As for the forums, most likely, yeah, especially with the updates giving me less desire to discuss the game than they once did. I've always had every intention to leave the forums once Brawl comes out anyway, since theres nothing left to discuss and speculate about then - just a great game to play for myself. As-is I have plenty of other things to fill up my time. Video games, novels (some of my family have compared my room to a small library), other non-video-gaming related forums, school, work, etc. If I stopped looking at the updates, I'd probably lose the desire to discuss the game, and coming here would no longer seem to have a point.

My friend has gone without seeing the Dojo since before Nov. 1st. It's been a month and 1 week since he's checked it. Very impressive. He doesn't know about stage builder, yet. He picked a good time to ignore it though, because since he stopped checking we've been in drought. Bad luck jynx, maybe?

I probably couldn't go a week without it.

I did go without it for a week... just because. :p
I came back to an awesome barrage of updates, including Pokemon Trainer as a playable character. :D

...no way I'd do it again though, not now. Updates haven't really been worth it. :p

Yeah, I definitely couldn't go a week without it. I'm a bit of a night owl, and once I see those I feel ready to go to bed.

I don't really stay up for updates. I normally have to be up at 5:30, (accept on weekends...figures) so staying up until 2 or 3 isn't really a priority for me. Plus, the updates help me get out of bed in the morning.

I think only once did I ignore and update to get another 30 mins of sleep...don't remember which one it was, but I do remember that it was a good one.

I admit, i'd develop mad cow disease without checking. I remember one day i was at skool, and i didnt check that morning! i ran to the office to check wen teachers werent looking. This was all planned! Nintendo had a great idea. get ppl to think about Smash everyday and give them something Smash related to be excited about every weekday. Soon, we're all obsessed and wen brawl comes out... $$$=Nintendo

I'm actually going to feel sort of sad when updates end, even with Brawl. Who wouldn't miss Sakurai's quotes?

I already did this. In the Pokémon Trainer week. Way to miss one of the most controversial updates ever.

I could, as long as I could check them before the website goes down. I hope sakurai continues it at least a year after the games release. He doesn't even have to update about brawl it could just be about his personal life.

Although the people that stay up till the wii hours of the morning just for the updates are crazy. If I happen to be up by the time the update then sure I'll check it.

But I normally go to bed at 7-9 pm and wake up at 3-5 am,
so I'm up not long after the update anyway.

I went about a month or two without it, but then starting checking it religiously again in October, but I plan to stop checking these boards, as well as the characters part of the Dojo, in the next couple of days (because it has been predicted that there will be a character update) until the game comes out. Whatever characters are left, I don't want to know about now.

What do you mean a week without Dojo? We have ALREADY been without Dojo updates for a week -.- (unless you want to call these "updates"

I know someone probably already said this in the thread, but we have had a whole month (November) without GOOD dojo updates and so far the first week of December.

If I had been asked that about a month ago I'd be like "No way! are you insane? *hugs dojo*"

But recently theres been nothing that makes me too excited so yeah I could live without it, maybe for even two weeks

Edit: Besides I could just come here and find out what was posted :p

I don't think I can live without the dojo.
I probably can but only when the corocoro issue comes out with the whole roster.

I missed the week of the Pokemon Trainer while I was on vacation in Florida. Imagine my surprise when I came back to see that. :psycho:

But yeah, my checking of the Dojo is borderline obsession. So I probably couldn't go another week.

I was supposed to go a week without when going on vacation to Florida, but I found out the hotel we were going to had Wi-Fi so I brought my laptop.

That was the week Ike was revealed.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it's weird, but if I want to remember a date of a certain day I go "what update did we have that day?" I check and bam, there it is. The dojo is part of my internal calendar now.

Right after the 15th, I will not only go a week without Dojo, I will be away from it for a very long time. And it's not a hard thing to do.

Haha, the weekends kill me. It's three straight days, including Fridays, of seeing the same update. But with finals week coming up, I guess it won't hurt to try resisting.

I have developed a routine ever since mid July. I wake up, go right on the computer, and check the updates. So, no, I don't think I could go a week without it. I've tried once, but I checked the next day. =P
