My eyes are crystal blue and that's good enough for me.

If I were to wear contact lenses that change my eye color it would not feel right to me. I'd feel fake for some reason... But that's just me.

I will admit, some of them look great. :bee:

Yeah, when I had good contact lenses(min are really old, so they dry out quickly. I haven't felt like spending the money for new ones), it was awesome. I think I just have good eyes for contacts.

First morning I had my contacts, I lost one. Could never find it. Mom wasn't too happy. Then I lost another one at my brother's. I was sick, and we were out on a pier. It folded up in my eye, I blinked, and it fell into the ocean. Wtf. From then on out I was pretty good with them, though.

^I did pretty much the same thing at school, someone accidentally poked me in the eye and it fell onto the floor and i had to just pick it up and put it back in while thinking to myself this can not be good for my eyes. Anyways Time for my contact lens story

I wore glasses my whole life untill highschool when I decided I was sick of wearing glasses and wanted to get contacts. I went to the optometrists and got them to order some in for me, I was pretty stoked at first that I didn't need to wear glasses but soon they started to become frustratting. Frequently I would forget to take them out and wake up in the middle of the night with everything blurry and realise i had forgotten, so I would have to drag myself out of bed and remove them. I eventually just sort of stopped wearing them and decided my vision was good enough without them, my parents were slightly annoyed that I refused to wear corrective eyewear but when my yearly visit to the optometrists came around I informed him of my decision, he was suprised I could see well enough without them but assured my parents that it was doing no harm not wearing them and that as long as i could read things without straining my eyes there would be no problem with me not wearing any corrective eyewear. That was a few years ago now and i can still see pretty darn good. :)

EDIT: I like the Pacifica Ocean Blue lenses

Do glasses and contacts fix your vision like where
you dont have to wear them anymore?

Ummm no. Unless they are some kind of magic glasses/contacts.
The only way that I know of to fix vision permanently is laser eye surgery or you have to eat A LOT of carrots.

I never brought solution to school, and regretted it a couple times. It'd be a good idea to bring it and then just put it in a corner of your locker for emergencies.

Does anyone bring glasses/case/solution to school? It's probably a good idea, but I don't want to break/lose any of that stuff...
I bring a case and solution with me any time I wear mine.

I'd rather be able to take them out if they're bothering me than risk ruining them or my eyes.

♣ I must be lucky, I have never had a problem with my contacts. Of course, carrying solution with me wouldn't really be an option considering I don't feel like carrying a purse, or worse, wearing a fanny pack. ♣

They can 'correct' your vision, but only while you have them on. Like Lord Bowser said, you'd need laser surgery for that.

and just thinking about that makes me cringe

♣ That reminds me, someone got laser eye surgery on the Today Show it was when laser surgery had just newly been invented. They were trying to spread awareness about the surgery, the lady that got it said it wasn't painful at all. ♣

I can't wait until I can afford laser eye surgery. Be one of the first things I'd do if I won the lottery. That and tell my boss what a horrible person he is.
