Can anyone tell my why it is that my bookmarks in firefox randomly get deleted every so often? It's really frustrating -.- Also, is there any way I can retrieve them without finding all the sites again manually?

I have no clue about your problem, you could probably google it or look on the mozilla site. But once you have all your bookmarks set, go to bookmarks>organize bookmarks>file>export and then pick a place to save that file to. Then if they get deleted, you'll have a saved copy of your bookmarks which you just need to go to the same place again and file>import that file. It can be a good temp fix but you should probably just go google your problem.

"C:\Documents and Settings\[Windows username here]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[Firefox profile here]\bookmarkbackups"

and/or check if you're not using a new Firefox profile:
