wes: <3. thanks for that, looks like i'll be listening to his stuff for a few.
cog: listeninggggg will give opinion after.
axel: #1 shad fan of all time?
he has this one track name Get Some that I can't find on youtube, and it's just like 1:00 and some of the lines are recylced (Rodney King ain't never seen a beat like this), but omg I still ****ing love it so much. I wish I could link it, the flow is so smooth. E.T. and enecS no eht kcaB are also pretty tight tracks (basically S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. and Binary Star's Masters of the Universe albums are really really solid).
I've also been trying to get back at some of the 90s hip hop I seem to have missed, recently got some of the solo Wu Tang offshoot albums (Tical, Only Built 4 Cuban Linqs, and Liquid Swords), Big L's Lifestylez ov da Poor and Dangerous, and Big Pun's Capital Punishment. I find it really interesting listening to mostly hollow lyrics about money, drugs, sex and violence that still manage to impress me with their lyrical craftsmanship.
And back in the present tense, I can't wait for more Blue Scholars and Common Market. I ****ing love Sabzi's beats and both the MCs he's working with are quite talented and spitting some positive ****. I just wish Common Market would catch some of the popularity that Blue Scholars got =\. Bugs me out that a track like this:
