lol yah pistol was gay, 2-3 head shots with it = opponent death, so yah that i cant argue, but i still think its the best out of the 3 though

the thing that made halo 1 the best out of all of them was that you started with the pistol off the spawn. It was entirely based on skill. TSK - you had to out-pistol your opponent. Being good with the pistol was somewhat difficult as well, particularly if your opponents weren't ********. The abundance of grenade/rocket jumps coupled with the presence of powerups that allowed you to remove the damage penalty of using grenade jumps, etc. Everyone could also grenade jump, unlike h2. you could grenade weapons to yourself (Tech skill, basically)
I'm kind of rambling, but Halo 1 was the deepest of all of them and the most skill based.

as far as the halo series goes, it's very similar to the way the smash series has progressed (or regressed) except that the pistol wasn't a guaranteed ZTD. I guess it was more like

yea we just had to sit in the dark with coats on for a while, and we also couldn't leave (unless we walked) because our road which is a deadend got taped off with yellow police tape because of multiple fallen power lines. And on top of that a tree fell on our house and scared the **** out of us, but it didn't do any noticeable damage luckily. GOOD TIMES

Bring setups, recording stuff, etc.

This is MAINLY for my actual CT friends and not outside smashers. Basically, this event is not actually open to everyone. Those of you who are attending, expect late night drinkage to happen. Once my parents go to sleep...I don't give a flying **** what you guys do as long as you are all quiet and dont scream and yell DAAAAYYYYMMMM (trademark ) and make a lot of noise
