i think you could just let their opponents ban characters

i.e. if you're playing mango you can ban 10 characters, if you're playing lovage you can ban 5, if you're playing macd you can ban 3, etc

it's a time killer though

I don't think people know what characters all the ranked people are good with

I would rather play MacD's Falcon rather than his Zelda but they probably don't know that

that's part of the system though

maybe someone thinks they're awesome vs fox and suck vs falco so they ban oscar's fox instead of his falco

it would "work" for the same reason we don't enforce the 'most favorable' stage for counterpicks and instead let the players choose

missing the point. oscar will win with a bad tier, but lose with a top tier.

i'm just trying to find a way i don't have to use boring characters. i want to support your tournament (last one was fun, and it's a great idea) but i'm having a hard time convincing myself to go because i'm gonna be bored all day playing mario and pikachu or something. and ESPECIALLY if i can't play any fun characters in doubles. i wouldnt mind playing y.link in singles if i was allowed to have fun in doubles with sheik or falcon.

but its whatever it's your tourny do what you want

he's a pretty good char of mine (prolly best behind all my high tiers) but he's luigi so he sux and gets gimped

You could just enter singles then? I find mario and pikachu more fun than sheik, but obviously that's just personal taste. I appreciate your support, but I can't make an exception for just you, you know.

That's like when Joey wanted to enter the last tournament with Link. I love Joey and it would've been awesome to let him enter, but it wasn't fair to the other competitors.

Joe you can enter with Luigi of course. I remember you using him way back in the day

I'm not the greatest as sheik dittos. I guess if Sherigami's up to it.

I'm probably going to prep and play Aesis for like 20 hours beforehand though.

How does GSUB know about stinkoman O_o?
