Combo Video Speed: Sped up or Normal?

I'm planning on making a serious of combo videos, sort of like Tapion did, but different themes.

The only problem is, most combo videos bore me because of the speed of this game.

NJs2Raw crew speeds up their combo videos, and in my opinion, they are much more entertaining to watch. Here they are:

Please understand that this is not a bash at Brawl in anyway - I love the game. It's just most combo videos tend to get boring, especially if they're more than 5 minutes or so. I think we all can admit that Brawl isn't all that fast, so please share your opinions with me.

I plan on working hard on my combo video series, and I want them to be positively received by you guys. I want to know whether you prefer videos sped up like the way NJs2Raw does it, or if I should leave them at normal Brawl speed.

If this could be made into a poll I'd greatly appreciate it.

i think it's ok as long as it's listed in the summary that all the clips are sped up and by how much.

I agree. I think I'd rather speed them up. It'll be more interesting to watch AND the video will be shorter.

less time consuming videos are convenient, maybe keep a few clips in regular/ slo-mo speed if its one of the best parts of the video.

Speeding up seems more like a way to cover up the areas where the opponent should have easily been able to counter or escape.

I personally prefer normal speed, and to make amazing combo videos you just basically have to have amazing moments of gameplay, that's all IMO.

I think sped up vids are al right, but I also like ones that are synched to the music.
Also, there are sometimes when a slo-mo replay is necessary.

only speed up certain sections to match to the music, most of it should stay in real time in my opinion.

Okay, if speed is the only thing taken into account, I'd have to say fast, Though I really don't mind watching either. Also, the playstyle of the person sometimes affects how the vid should look.

among the figments of your imagination
Do whatever works.

Since you are speeding the footage up, I'd recommend adding a disclaimer so no one is misled by your vid.

Personally, I never speed my vids up, I'll trim out the excess and add more. It takes a lot of clips, a lot of footage, and a lot of cutting out, but I feel I get better vids in the long run.
I could be absolutely wrong on this, so don't hold me too hard to it.

Can you link me to your vids?

It looks like melee when it's sped up. I kind of like it better sped up just because of the fact that the game play looks faster though. If only they made brawl melee with the new characters.
