Huh... Just like at MOMOs...
Oh well. Right now I'm definitely planning to show up near 6. Depending on how late the buses run, I'll probably stay until sometime between 10 - 11:30.
I haven't brawled offline in quite a while so this is a good way to freshen up for Sunday.
Also, pizza.
Edit: ONE MOAR THING! Is there a venue fee for this? I forgot.

There's no venue fee for this. Though there may be no Smash setups unless Chonce is bringing Project M...but that's P:M. :/

But there's absolutely no issue in bringing other fighters in if you have that sort of variety. Any fighter of any shape, size, age, & anime density are all fair game.
Right now, we still just need more Smashers to show up at Donatos for Smashfests, anyway. Right now, I know that Kiest, Juu, SP, Quivo, mars, & myself were there. Kiest was playing a card game the whole time, though, and I occupied myself with UMvC3 before SP showed up.
Plus, you can have, split, & share pizza every Wednesday, too. If you love pizza, specifically Donatos, then you're getting a great deal here.
So spread the word and join us if you can so that our new venue can have more legit Smashfests.

predominantly = mainly; for the most part. I will save myself the 90 minute drive if it's a Brawl fest, no offense intended of course. I'm just not interested/any good at that game.

iirc, there's going to be Melee for the ESI thing on OSU at Jones Tower. You can go there and also play some Project M

Oh hey, you mentioned OSU. I've got an easy segue now.
If any of you guys are interested in Columbus smash, Prince Abu, I, and a few other people at OSU play pretty regularly (3+ times a week), and we have a Facebook group to coordinate meeting up on campus. I'd have to talk to Abu of course, but I imagine we could make something work out for smashfests. I'm not sure if there's much interest; throwing it out there anyway.

edit 2: or since the Donatos is so close to campus, maybe we could start going if there was melee interest but I'm still looking at things tentatively.

JamesBJames, I need a melee fix. I would love to get some info on when you guys get matches in. I live in Dayton, but I'd be willing to drive out there every once in a while to keep myself from getting too rusty.

I'm already hosting some activity @ Donatos for Brawl, but I also play Melee and P:M. There are some TVs in the back corner of the basement where I sat up Brawl last time, so that can be the Unofficial Smash area.

I left a bit after 10PM realizing that. I went into campus to find any remaining Smashers there.
It took me a while to find them, but when I did, I only found the Melee team. I still told them about my experience at Donatos and it looks like they didn't know about the fests we can have there.
It looks like they were interested in pitching into that place, especially after I told them about the other fighters that go on there.
In return, they told me the extreme priority and ownership they had over all of the TVs in the room they were in. This means they can bring those TVs over to Donatos if they want to for Melee and/or Brawl.
