Omfg, Arkansas wins 46-26. Is that really a surprise with the leading candidate for the Heisman? Of course you know the student section was freakin crazy!

Heh, I go to USC, the true #1 team in the nation. :p You know we're gonna dominate! Go go BCS Championship game!

On another note, Michigan lost to Appalachian State, lol. That is just too funny.

If you go to USC you need to slap Mitch Mustain for me. I hope he never plays a game again. I really hope he took his mom with him. USC is bad *** but where is your head coach from? Oh thats right, Arkansas!

McHeisman McHeisman McHeisman McHeisman

Looks like there is a head coaching job opening in Michigan. Any scrub will do. #5 my ***!

USC, Arkansas, thats great and all. LSU is were its at though. Best D in the land, plus we've owned Arkansas lately. Only prob. is that our offense is a little........meh, but that will get better.

BTW, how great was Michigan loosing?

I am from Boone NC. Here is what happened that day. Every bar and best buy was filled with people watching the game. It was so intense. In case no one knows. Michigan is ranked number 5 in division 1 football. Appalachian state from Boone NC has won back to back titles but is a division 2 school. Michigan paid App 400 thousand dollars to come play them for their opening game ( Michigan has not lost an opener in 13 years.) The game was so intense. App lead for the first half but Michigan battled back and took the lead. Then app drives down the field and they get up by two. Michigan has the ball at the twenty and with 26 seconds to go they throw a bomb and make the catch. They set up for the 30 yard field go and it gets blocked by app. The person who blocked the punt (lynch) picks up the loose ball and runs it back to to five running out the clock. App wins. This is the first time in history that a non-d-1 team beat a ranked division 1 team. It was intense. The fans here went crazy and tore down the field goal posts here at home and commensed to walk down the streets with them. I was an hour and a half late for work because you couldnt drive down the street. There were too many people.

hopefully we can pull it together for LSU this week! sadly, that looks doubtful.

not a chance, ACC teams can't stand up to the SEC powerhouses. Go Tigers!

If they can get a run game going then they'll have a chance. Hopefully we wont have to rely too much on our crucial defense.

i still think tyrod should start to get some playing time...not this week but maybe next week vs. ohio.
sean is too shaky with the ball and is easily sacked. < which spells disaster in Death valley. at least tyrod can do something with the ball outside of the pocket.

GO HOKIES!

I like VT. Our football team still has the VT on their uniforms (everyone might still have that).

Everyone needs to say a prayer for Alabama, Arkansas is coming!

I'm an NIU fan. Yeah. They aren't going anywhere this year though. Most people don't even know any MAC teams, but last year and the year before NIU was killin' with Garrett Wolfe.

Watch out for Penn State. They are going to stomp Notre Dame on Saturday and after that now that Michigan is a joke the next two games they can only possibly lose are against Ohio State or Wisconsin.

Now, just because Notre Dame got stomped 33-3 doesn't mean they can't bounce back. I know it's a little different this year with ND's team, but PSU was supposed to give a fight last year and they (PSU) lost 41-17. If Notre Dame doesn't get their act together this weekend, it'll most likely be a repeat of last year, but with PSU winning. But I'll take ND over PSU in a very close win. (6 points or less)

Oklahoma fan here! They play the Miami Hurricanes this weekend. It'll be a tough game, but they (OU) are coming off a big 79-10 win over the Mean Green of North Texas. Boomer Sooner!

I don't see Notre Dame getting anymore then 5 wins this year.

Last year they were pretty bad (they got destroyed in all of their games against ranked teams, except PSU). Now they lost all of their good players, and they have 3 quarterbacks, which neither are any good.

And its not just the offense, don't forget that they allowed 33 points by a Calvin Johnson-less GT team.

This will be ND's struggle year. They lost a lot of great players.

Why in the hell is Auburn ranked higher than Arkansas? We got the shaft. How did Hawaii top Texas A&M? Michigan fell from #5 to #93578397 HAHAHA! I bet LSU would stomp the **** out of USC. They wont be voted #1 because 95% of the voters are either from USC or just want to have Pete Carroll's babies. Louisville has a cake season. Hardest team they play is WV. Under them is Kentucky (just kidding Rutger fans).

Cant wait for Saturday.

Yep, its a shame. Us SEC teams have to play a dangerous team almost every single conference game. I've looked at USC's schedule. They have about one or two games that are challenging at all =/

And I was wondering how Auburn is ranked that high. They had a tough time against KSU.

I'm telling you guys, App is just really good. They could hang with d-1 teams their just a smaller school. Dont play off Michigan just because they lost this. They will do well this season too.

I hear rumor that App is going to become ranked. Can anyone confirm?
Appalachian State received 19 votes for the AP poll picks. They are strongly considered. If they keep going with what they've done they should have no problems being in the top 25.

LSU for #1. Complete dominance. Enough said. They did get #1 on ESPN's power 16 but missed the other polls by like 20 votes. Can we say biased?

Arkansas up to #16. Thank you Georgia and Auburn.

LSU should be #1, including the way they played and won against Virginia Tech. USC #1? Yeah right. They play cupcakes for the first couple of games, until they start their PAC-10 games.

Notre Dame and Michigan should be an interesting game on Saturday. Both teams are 0-2 going into this game for the first time. Although they both suck badly right now, I think Notre Dame can pull it off and they win by 3, including with the fact that Michigan will be missing Chad Henne.

I'm definitely a big LSU fan, but mostly since the highschool I play for runs a similar defense, and I've jsut come to admire their style of play.

Notre Dame? Nah!

Tyrod didn't stand a chance against LSU >=)

I'm actually really worried about Alabama this year. Its @ Ala., LSU-Ala. is a huge rivalry, and the whole Nick Saban thing.

Except now they dont play one one thats worth a ****. So I really doubt that their rank is going to go anywhere. With apps increasing popularity they should start getting more students. Then they will be able to become a division 1 school. That would be pretty kool then we'd really get to see what they are made of.

dude, you guys beat Michigan. You see how easily they got beat by Oregon? Sure, its a good win, but Michigian was WAY overrated. App. State wouldn't stand up to a big time SEC school. They wouldn't even be able to contend with some of the PAc-10 teams.

App has the longest college winning streak in the nation right now. I'm not saying they would beat many good teams in D-1 but I do think they would contend. They are underrated. You think Michigan was overrated? Why because they have had a rough start. Or because they lost to a team that no one thought was good enough to beat them?

I just cant wait for the Florida v. LSU game. Everyone on ESPN was talking about how hard USC's schedule was, how they had to play so many hard teams... and all I could think of was how #2 LSU was to play #4 Florida and nobody was mentioning how rough the LSU schedule looks.

SEC is real football.

<3's to the haters.
