People say that the big conferences are better because they have tougher in conference schedules. In the SEC and Pac 10 I agree with that. However what teams do the larger schools play out of conference?
Florida Atlantic, Eastern Illinois, Southern Utah, Utah Valley, Idaho University and small Division two schools such as App. State.
Let's take for example BYU from the Mountain West. Out of conference we get UCLA, Arizona and other Pac 10 teams for the most part, last year we even had Boston College. In conference isn't that bad either, Air Force (who was ranked), TCU (who was ranked), New Mexico, Utah (who murdered UCLA) and Wyoming (who happened to destroy Virignia)
I feel that NCAA football needs a regular playoff system, they should set up a bracket like they do in basketball.
